Procedure:
 Ask the learners to copy the letter Qq repeatedly until they fill
up the page.

GROUP 2: Uppercase-lowercase Match

Competencies:
 Match an upper to its lower case
letter (LLKAK-Ih-4)
 Match the letter sound to its letter
form (LLKAK-Ih-5)

Materials: worksheet, pencil

Procedure:
 Ask the learner to match the uppercase and lowercase of the
letters by writing a line.

GROUP 3 Find the letter Qq

Competencies:
 Identify the letter, number, or word
that is different in a group
(LLKVPD-00-6)
 Identify the letters of the alphabet
(mother tongue, orthography)

Materials: worksheet, color

Procedure:
 Ask the learners to recognize the
letter Qq.
 Let them identify and color the
letter Qq.
 Assist the learners in doing the activity.

Transition to Meeting The teacher reminds the learners about the time left in Work Period
Time 2 Time 1 around 15 minutes before Meeting Time 2. After 10 minutes, the
teacher tells the learners to start packing away the materials they used
and be ready for Meeting Time 2. A transition song or a countdown
may be used.
Questions/Activity Let the learners present their work. Afterwards, encourage them to sing
the song “Rain, rain go away...”

Materials: hopscotch board on the ground

Indoor Game/ Procedure:


Light Physical  Draw the hopscotch board on the ground. Create a set of vertical
Activity squares numbered 1 through 10. Numbers 4 & 5 and 7 & 8 are
9:50am-10:20am often placed side-by-side.
 To begin a hopscotch game, toss a stone or flat object into the
inside of the 1 square. If the learner’s stone touches the sides of the
square, they lose their turn.
 The goal of hopscotch is to hop through the inside of each square
on one foot. If they lose their balance or touch any of the square’s
sides, they lose their turn.
 After the learners successfully hopped across the board, they will
turn around (remaining on one foot) and hop back to the
beginning, picking up the stone along the way.

Learning Checkpoints  Play with fairness and sportsmanship.


 Follow directions and perform gross motor movements.
 Develop social and communication skills.

Transition to Meeting The teacher tells the learners to help pack away the materials they used

the wrap-up activities in Meeting Time 3. A transition song or
countdown may be used.
Activity The learners talk about the importance of counting in daily lives.
Wrap-Up The teacher checks if the learners were able to identify situation where
Meeting Time 3
Questions/Activity counting is used.
