DESCALER MTA
BY CIRCULATION
1) Preparation
• Empty the circuit to be descaled
• Prepare a 50% DESCALER MTA solution
• Install a fume vent at the top of the circuit to be descaled
2) Descaling
• After removing the cleaning solution, gradually add the DESCALER MTA solution. Allow this solution to circulate for
approx. 10-12 hours depending on scale thickness.
• During descaling, fumes and foam are formed. When descaling is completed, empty the circuit from the bottom, and,
where feasible, remove any scale deposits left with pressure water hose.
3) Rinsing
• Add water to the circuit
• Allow it to circulate for at least 1 hour.
Neutralisation
• Neutralise any acid residues left through circuit passivation with 1%, or 2% if in fresh water, ALKALINITY CONTROL
solution allowed to circulate for 2 hours.
