    DEED OF COMPROMISE

    THIS deed is made at ……………… this on …….. day…….. 2023.

    BETWEEN

    Jaswinder Singh, S/o Bhagat Singh, R/o Village Chandon


    Gobindgarh, Tehsil Kharar, District SAS Nagar (Mohali) hereinafter
    called the First Party, (which expression shall, unless repugnant to
    the context, mean and include his heirs, executors, administrators
    and assigns)

    AND

    Manvinder Singh Chawla, S/o R.S. Chawla, Proprietor of Tec


    Education, SCO No. 60-62, Second Floor, Sector 17-C, Chandigarh.
    hereinafter called the Second Party, (which expression shall, unless
    repugnant to the context, mean and include her heirs, executors,
    administrators and assigns)

    WHEREAS a dispute arose between first party and second party with
    respect to sending son of first party namely Harjeet Singh to aboard
    and consequently first party issued 4 cheques in favour of second
    party and son of first party

    AND WHEREAS the said cheques were dishonoured and


    consequently first party and son of first party filed 2 cases bearing
    no. NACT/192/2020 and NACT/193/2020 under Section 138
    Negotiable Instruments Act with respect to 3 cheques. Said cases are
    pending in Court of Ms. Manzra Dutta, JMIC, Kharar (SAS Nagar
    Mohali)

    AND WHEREAS the parties hereto have also decided to sort out their
    problems amicably. the parties hereto have worked out the terms and
    conditions of their agreement and also decided to reduce the same
    into writing;

    NOW, THIS DEED WITNESSES, and it is hereby mutually agreed by


    and between the parties as follows:

    1. That the parties hereto do hereby declare and confirm they


    sincerely enter into and execute this compromise deed only with
    their full consent and without any fear, undue influence, threat
    and coercion.
    2. That as a result of the mutual settlement, second party shall pay
    an amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only) to first
    party as a full and final settlement with respect to the said cases.
    Second Party had already paid an amount of Rs. 20,000/- to first
    party and shall pay the balance amount of Rs. 1,80,000/- to first
    party on 16.01.2023.
    3. That first party shall withdraw both the above mentioned cases
    and return the 3rd cheque to second party on 16.01.2023 after
    receiving the settlement amount.
    4. That the parties do hereby agree and undertake not to file any
    civil action or lodge any criminal complaint against each other in
    the future with respect to present dispute.
    IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have signed
    hereunder the date first abovementioned.
