Effectiveness of Security Upgrades in Pampanga High


School to Prevent School Property Damage

This chapter includes the Background of the Study, Statement of the Problem,
Assumption of the Study, Scope and Limitation, Significance of the Study and the
Definition of Terms used.

Background of the Study


This research is all about The Effectiveness of Security Upgrades in Pampapga High School to
Minimize School Property damage. This topic state the effectiveness of upgrading security to
prevent the property damage in Pampanga High School. The authors of this paper examine how
educators may increase the field's understanding of preventing school violence and improving
school safety by (a) identifying knowledge gaps in the theoretical, conceptual, and basic
research on the phenomenon of school violence; (b) analyzing significant problems with the
development and assessment of evidence-based practices to reduce school violence; and (c)
proposing new directions for a translational science agenda that can guide policy and practice.
For each school site, school district, or area, the authors offer distinct empirical methodologies
from around the world that can be used to connect annual school safety monitoring data with

allowed to purposefully or deliberately deface, damage, or destroy another student's
belongings, including private property while the student is still a student and school property at
all times. For willful or malicious destruction of school property, a student or parent/guardian
will be held financially liable, as permitted by Virginia law. (De Bélizal, Lavigne, Hadmoko,
Degeai, Dipayana, Mutaqin, Marfai, Coquet, Le Mauff, Robin, Vidal, Cholik, and Aisyah) are some
of the individuals that share this surname. Examples include writing on desks, mirrors, or walls;
destroying someone else's clothing or belongings; and engaging in graffiti. The misbehaving
pupils may experience consequences like ISS or OSS. When necessary, monetary compensation
may also be demanded.School property theft, vandalism, or damage Any act of vandalism or
damage will be met with retaliation by the Union Gap School District. theft, as permitted by law,
and misuse of school property. Any student who damages or defaces school property may be
suspended and/or expelled. Parents or guardians of such students will be disciplined and held
financially responsible. In addition, the parents, or the parent of any kid under the age of 18
who resides with them, who knowingly or maliciously destroys property, whether it be real,
personal, or mixed, may be punished by parents shall, in a civil action at law, be liable to the
owner of such property for damage and force them to pay.

Statement of the Problem


Inform people on the costs of vandalism, especially young individuals. Replace signage, fix
playground equipment, and paint over graffiti to immediately remove damage.

Scope and Limitation of the Study


The study focuses on the effects on how keeping schools safe allows children to look forward
to being in an encouraging environment that promotes social and creative learning. Safe
schools promote the protection of all students from violence, exposure to weapons and
threats, theft, bullying and harassment, the sale or use of illegal substances on school grounds,
and other emergencies. School safety is linked to improved student and school outcomes. But
many children nowadays caused damage to school properties. A student who
damages/vandalizes/defaces school property will be held responsible for their actions. The
student may be subject to disciplinary consequences including possibility of restitution,
suspension, expulsion, or exclusion from school activities, including, but not limited to the
graduation ceremony. In addition, these actions may result in police involvement. This study is
focusing on the effectiveness of the security upgrades in Pampanga High School. The
researchers aim is to help the Pampanga High School for security upgrades inorder to minimize
the property damage such as the appliances, and furniture. In addition, The students in
Pampanga high school will be the beneficiary of this study. The study will have 15 male and 15
female of grade 10 students of Pampanga High School with the age of 15 years old and above.
The respondents should be enrolled this school year 2022-2023 of the grade 10 students of
Pampanga High School.

The general intent of this study is primarily about the effectiveness of security upgrades in
pampanga high school to maximize or somehow reduce property damage inside the school
wherein located at High School Boulevard, Barangay Lourdes, City of San Fernando Pampanga.
The main purpose of this study is to help the school for security upgrades in order to avoid
property damage for those who are currenty using the school. These properties includes the
establishments, the appliances , the furnitures and other stuffs that can be use inside, and lastly
the school itself. This study shows the only focus on how those properties were going to used
and limits it's coverage only to the students, teachers and other staffs within the entire school.
This study was made for awareness for those who are using the school, to let them realise that
it is their reponsibility to use to school properly. Because there are next generation after them
who are going to use the school too.
