Test Reports:
FR/LCIE/ExTR19.0082/00 FR/LCIE/ExTR20.0075/00
EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this Certificate are as follows:
These motors, shaft height 100 mm, are totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) asynchronous motors. The cooling of the motor is provided by
an external fan mounted on the shaft (IC411).
The motor frame is protected by flameproof enclosure “db” and it can be equipped with a terminal box of type of protection “db” or “eb”.
Motor frame and terminal box are also protected by enclosure “tb”.
The motor frame is closed by an endshield in D-end whereas the N-end is part of the stator frame construction.
The stator winding wires, and wires of auxiliary devices like PTC100, are led through a threaded bushing, screwed on the top of the motor
frame. This lead-through bushing is filled with an epoxy resin to create separate enclosures for the frame and the terminal box.
Consequently, the volume of the motor frame and of the box are not communicating. Inside the terminal box, the stator winding wires are
connected to a terminal board whereas the wires of auxiliary devices are connected to terminal blocks subjected to a separate certification.
The motors can be supplied by the mains (for direct-on-line starting) or by frequency converter (duty S9).
Motors supplied by a frequency converter may be equipped with thermal protection devices embedded in the stator winding (one per
phase) to ensure the insulation class and temperature class.
When required, in order to minimize the risk of hazards caused by electrostatic charges, clean the motor only with a wet rag or by non-
frictional means.
The manufacturer's instructions for machine fed from converters have to be respected, notably about the connection of the thermal
protection.

EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this Certificate are as follows:
These motors, shaft height 80 mm, are totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) asynchronous motor. The cooling of the motor is provided by an
external fan mounted on the shaft (IC411).

These motors, shaft height 132 mm, are totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) asynchronous motors.
The motor frame is closed by an endshield at D-end side and at N-end side.
As a variant, the wires from auxiliaries can be connected into a flameproof auxiliary terminal box in type of protection Ex db/tb via the same
type of bushing. This auxiliary terminal box is attached to the stator frame.
The manufacturer's instructions for machine fed from converters have to be respected, notably about the connection of the thermal
protection.

an external fan mounted on the shaft (IC411).
The manufacturer's instructions for machine fed from converters have to be respected, notably about the connection of the thermal
protection.
