3 NAHV MADE EASY

PREFACE
The Holy Qur'an is the greatest miracle of the Noble Prophet Muhammad . It is

the perfect and comprehensive divine guidance for the whole of humanity. The

language of the Holy Qur'an is Arabic, and without an awareness of the Arabic

tongue it is impossible to understand the Holy Qur'an. Sarf (Morphology) and

Nahv (Syntax) are basic sciences of the Arabic language. Sarf helps to comprehend

the structure of a particular word, and Nahv provides the understanding of the

status of a word.

This book is a humble attempt to simplify the basic grammatical principles of

Nahv. I have studied and observed numerous books of this subject, and collated the

finest work from them. Learning principles of the modern age have been used to

compile the book, and a range of practical exercises have been included to help

keep students active and engaged. This book is an embodiment of the traditional

depth of the Arabic language and modern teaching styles.

I am aware that this work will not be free of shortcomings and mistakes, or may

need modification and improvements. Any form of correction, reformation,

suggestion and advice will be sincerely appreciated.

Humble servant of Islam

Muhammad Sajid al Qadri
