Overview of the course:
Overview of the course:
a) Rationale: Students will learn R Programming language, data analytics, data visualization and
statistical model for data analytics with hands-on practice sessions.
b) Prerequisite, if any (Skills/ Knowledge): Basic Coding Experience.
c) Objective:
To provide knowledge about basics of Data Science.
To study R language for simplifying Data Science problems.
To analyze real life scenarios using datasets related to Health sector, Defense, Meteorology,
Space Science, Autonomous Vehicles, etc.
To provide a new avenue for the research in the domain of Data Science.
d) Expected Outcome: Students will become proficient in the statistical analysis of data and the
use of computation tools for data analysis.

Deliverables:
a. Certificate of completion will be given to the students who will obtain minimum 40%
marks on average with minimum 60% attendance.
b. Certificate of completion will be given to the students who will fulfill the attendance and
assessment eligibility criteria.
