ACTIVITY 1: Study the dialogue below and provide what is being asked.
Question:
1. Are there other ideas you can share with Teacher C? Write it below.
 The Teacher C is fear to take a risk, the teacher also underestimated
his/her pupils. We should always remember that students has a different
style of learning we should know it from our students by checking their
background.
ACTIVITY 2:
A. What are the factors to consider in identifying the teaching aid needed for a
particular lesson?
 The factors to be consider in identifying the teaching aid needed for a
particular lesson are pupil’s behavior, teaching and learning process,
learning materials, classroom space and furniture and instructional time.
The pupil’s behavior, learning process and learning materials makes the
students involved in the lesson. Classroom space and furniture makes the
students comfortable and instructional time gives the students a limit in
understanding the topic.
B. Consider the scenario: You distribute teaching and learning materials to pupils of
different grade level. You then realize that wrong materials have been issued.
1. What are the possible cause of this situation?
 The possible cause of this situation is that the teacher confused of the
materials he/she bring.
2. What problems can be faced in this situation?
 The problem that can be faced in this situation is that learning materials is
not appropriate to the lesson.
3. How can you avoid this from happening next time?
 I can avoid this happening by double checking the materials needed in the
lesson.
ACTIVITY 3: Consider this scenario: The school bell rings for break while you are still in
the middle of your lesson. The teacher on duty calls your class pupils to come out for
their share of the school lunch and you are supposed to teach another lesson on a
different subject after break.
1. What are the possible cause of time loss in this case?
 The possible cause of time loss is that the teacher did not explain the
lesson in a simple way where in the students understand easily the topic.
2. What would you do differently in this situation?
 I will make my lesson to be simple and understandable.
Reflection:
Answer the following question honestly.
1. How much did you know about the lesson before we started?
 The things that I only know before the lesson started is that classroom
management is important in discussing a lesson because it makes the
students active and comfortable
2. What did you learned from the lesson?
 I learned that there are factors that should be considered in identifying
teaching aid needed in certain lesson. This is to make our teaching to be
meaningful.
