area,{( i.e. all pillars , offices, waiting halls (upper-lower- general), of PF no. 1,
2,3,4,5,6,7&8,FOB,Ramp and path, passengers Waiting hall , Retiring Rooms ,Dormitory, Yatri
shed , including toilets and reservation office removing spider webs from there etc and
Cleaning of signage’ sand notice boards, Cleaning of All types of Benches and steel and
plastic dustbins on platform, office ,FOB and circulating area Collection of garbage from
pantry Cars, Cleaning& disposal of garbage of all dustbin to main dustbin. Garbage disposal,
garbage segregation (Dry &wet) and removal of garbage from main dustbins to the municipal
corporation dumping grounds by the tenderers own labour, cleaning materials and
disinfectants, machines and tools, and Cleaning of All pay & use toilet Bathroom, Water
booth when not in contract and Chasing of stray animals as required , all areas instructed by

yard/ jhs letter.no. nil blast side ( 420*7=2940 sq.mt.)
(630*7=4410 sq.mt.,640*7=4480 sq.mt., 450*7=3150 sq.mt.) total = 14980 sq.mt.

Contractor must also supply any requirement of cleaning tools and items such as Phawarah, Tagari, and Duster extra for
better cleanliness along with above items.

NOTE-1:-The major work will be carried out in morning shift and high standard of cleanliness to be maintained during
every shift with proposed machine & manpower and specified chemicals. According to the situation, railway
administration will have the right to make changes in the number of Housekeeper and supervisor for one day (all three
shifts) or any of the shifts. Also railway administration depending on situation can depute manpower to other stations
for similar nature of work with written consent of concerned CHI/HI,SM/SS and nominated representatives of Sr.DCM /

NOTE:-2
a. The number of personnel proposed by the tenderer must be deployed as such for satisfactory cleaning
station(Area given in Annexure-“A”).Offers received without quoting manpower in Appendix-“E”will
Summarily rejected.
b. The personnel required to be deployed have to be physically deployed on everyday basis and the personnel
required to be deployed for taking care of Leave Reserve & Rest givers etc. have to be
Provided by the contractor as per the Statutory norms or rules etc. as applicable.
c. The CVs of the Managers & Supervisors are to be submitted at office of the CHI/station Manager,JHS
And intimate the officer concerned.
d. The personnel should be smartly dressed in neat and clean uniforms having the firm’s logo. The uniforms
and Personal Protective equipment’s (eg. Shoes, helmet, gloves etc) should be provided free of cost by the
Tenderer /contractors.
Managers and Supervisors should be well trained in mechanized cleaning practices through approved training
institutes as defined in Employer’s requirement. A certificate/documentary proof to this effect shall

Special Attention:
1. The tenderer must ensure to provide suitable equipment for spraying the disinfectant.
2. The penalty may be reviewed by the authority/ official higher than the official who levied
penaltyon written request by the housekeeping agency. Such request should be made
within 15 days ofthelevy of penalty
5. This penalty shall not relieve the contractor from his obligation to execute the works or
from any other of his obligations and liabilities under the contract.
6. The Contractor shall co-ordinate his programs to the extent feasible with the programs of
other contractors to be engaged at the site or in the vicinity of the site, as furnished by the
Engineer so that the works can be carryout as per the overall programmed.
7. Contractor shall maintain the attendance Register for morning, evening night and general
shift staff. If the short deployment of staff is noticed deduction shall be as per daily wages
for short deployment plus suitable penalty of Rs.1000/- for each short deployment and
also maintain a register for railway official’s inspection, surprise visit and all type VIP
movements.
8. Suitable penalty for theft, loss, missing of sanitary and water supply installation/
equipment, fittings shall be imposed by Railway administration.
9. However total penalty should not exceed 10% of contract value. Further it is clarified that
deduction for work not done is not a penalty as there is no work, no payment and
therefore shall not be counted towards limit of a penalty as stated above.
10. There will be two types of evaluator for service quality provided by service provider
a) Users (Employees/Visitorsetc.) ,
b) Buyer(Nodal Officer/Consignee of Buyer Organization)

Note:- In the event of failure of machine it shall be repaired or replaced by another machine of same make and
specification. For this purpose the contractor shall keep sufficient number of spare machines. However if
the contractor fails to provide replacement for a non- working machine within Forty Eight hours (From the
time of reporting of breakdown) of the failure or breakdown then a penalty will be imposed as per Annexure
F-1.
