Margins: 1” from each side (Left/Right/Top/Bottom)

Orientation: Portrait
Decorative borders, shading and other effects (including decorative clip art) should not be used anywhere in an assignment including the cover page.
The typeface (font) used in the text should be 12 point Times New Roman and for headings 14 point Times New Roman.
Lines spacing should be 1.5 spaced

Use footer on every page including the title page and contents page (if used).The footer should contain the following information only:
Student ID (left justified; i.e. aligned to the left margin) and page number (right justified; i.e. aligned to the right margin).

1 Cover page (Mandatory) The cover page of your assignment must be the first page of the attached Assignment.
Plagiarism Report (Mandatory)
The Plagiarism report should be sent along with the final assignment. Ensure that the similarity index is below 20% of your assignment The plagiarism reports from Viper or other online Plagiarism checking tools will not be accepted by the university
Assignment Submission
Students who registered for the module can submit the assignment on or before the due date.
Do ensure that you have completed your module fees and submission fees on or before the deadline in order to submit your assignment.
Students who fail to submit their assignment on or before the given deadline will be required to do a late submission bearing the cost of LKR 5000 penalty.

Assignments will not be accepted after the submission deadline under any circumstances. Strictly follow the instructions for a smooth process of submission.
2 General Requirements
Confidentiality: Candidates using organizational information dealing with confidential
material or issues must seek advice and permission from the organization about its inclusion in an assignment. Where confidentiality is an issue, candidates are advised to anonymize their assignment so that it cannot be attributed to a particular organization.
Word count: For assignments with specified word counts, the total number of words must be indicated on the front cover.
Referencing style: APA referencing or Harvard referencing format.
Plagiarism and collusion: It is a candidate’s responsibility to understand what constitutes
an academic offence, and, in particular, what plagiarism and collusion are and how to avoid them.
