External parts refer to any body parts of an animal that are
externally visible.

are the external parts of animals.

Head- It is where the mouth, the nose, ears, tongue, and teeth (if
the animal has it)- are located. They use these parts for sensing.

Thank you, John Chestir. So, we can find the eyes, nose, ears,
mouth, and teeth in the animals’ heads. Just like humans, animals
use their head for sensing.

Next is the body.

Body- It is the biggest part where the internal organs are located
and safeguarded. Other parts like the feet, neck, wings, tails, and
fins are attached to the body.

Legs- are located below the body. It enables the dog to walk and
run.

Number 1, tail.

Tail- The tail of an animal is the part extending beyond the end
of its body.

Next is the fur.

Fur- it is a thick growth of hair that covers the skin of an animal.

Wings- These are set of special forelimbs on either side of a


bird’s body.

of the animals with wings.

Next is the beak.

Beak- It is made of thin, hornlike material.

Hock- It is the joint between the drumstick on a chicken and the
ankle joint.

Tail Feathers- This is composed of feathers pointing upward.
