Part one: Reading Comprehension.


Emma and her family had a wonderful Saturday filled with household chores and
quality time together. In the morning, Emma and her younger brother, Ethan, helped
their parents with the weekly cleaning tasks. Emma dusted the furniture and sweeped
the floors, while Ethan took care of tidying up his toys and organizing his room.
Meanwhile, their parents handled the kitchen, the mum was washed the dishes, and the
dad arranged them. After completing the chores, the family decided to work in their
garden. Emma and her mother watered the plants, while Ethan and their father cleaned
the gardening tools. It was a productive day, and once the chores were finished, the
family gathered in the backyard for a barbecue, enjoying delicious food and sharing
laughter and stories. Saturday was not only a day of responsibility but also an
opportunity for Emma and her family to bond and create lasting memories.
