We all use the term anxiety. It is a term used in psychology and medicine with precise meanings.
While anxiety is a normal emotion, it can sometimes lead to uncomfortable symptoms and even
full-blown anxiety disorders. Fortunately, nowadays, we know how to deal effectively with these
problems.
WHAT IS ANXIETY
Anxiety is a normal human emotion that we are all familiar with. But sometimes, it can cause
problems and even give rise to real disturbances. Anxiety has evolved by changing meaning over
time and acquiring a negative value. Originally the term 'anxiety' did not indicate something
unpleasant. It was an agitated emotion - negative or positive - associated with the anticipation of
something. For example, the girl waiting for her beloved to return home could be anxious.
Learn to be careful of the situations you avoid and try to deal with them a little at a time, giving
yourself time to get used to a problem that makes you anxious before walking away. This isn't
easy, but it is the most useful thing.
