Pupils recap sounds s, a, t, p in days in a week. Teacher points at a letter and pupils guess the sound.
Pre Lesson
1. Pupils are introduced to a set of reading cards about daily activities.
2. Pupils are guided to read together. Call out proficient pupils to be the mini teachers for the second round of
reading.
Lesson Development
3. Pupils are divided in groups of 3 and are given a box of words in their respective groups.
4. Pupils listen and find the words that the teacher says. Pupils rearrange the words to form a correct sentence
and write the sentence in their exercise books.
Pupils take turns to read out the sentences that they have written.
