Foundation. Maven Wave formed a cloud strategy, created a cloud architecture and
implemented a roadmap for structured data archiving and disposal. An end-to-end analytics
solution for CRO data collection for repeatable queries and visualization was created.

SOLUTION
In partnership with AWS and Atos, Philips migrated over 4,200 applications to AWS and private cloud.
More than 130 legacy datacenters and data rooms were closed in the process, and approximately
1,800 systems were decommissioned. Over 300,000 project hours were invested in this solution to
help rightsize systems and enable faster, more flexible service delivery.

Philips was able to maximize its benefits by implementing this migration, transforming its operating
business environment to be cloud-forward, solution-focused, and FDA compliant. As a result, there
was an approximate $14 million year-over-year reduction in IT costs. Due to the agile and secure

and security needed for the disaster field patient journey solution. Containerization technology enabled
the application to be used even when internet is not available or reliable, providing the quick reporting and

The primary objective of the Maven Wave’s services is to determine the status of and conduct scanning of
unmapped servers. Starting with 5K of the 12K unmapped servers McKesson has, the team will first work to
determine whether or not a server is active or inactive, and gather all available data for identifying
applications and application owners of servers currently in use.

With these services, the team will determine next steps to identify the applications running on a server that
is determined to be active or flag a server for potential decommissioning if it is determined to be inactive.
The scanning capabilities of this solution gathers all available data through scanning tools in place at the
organization to begin the identification process for applications.

With the provisioning of GCP projects, these services will be focused on producing data to
support enhanced pricing algorithms to be ingested into GCP. The development of a pricing
algorithm (linear solver) will be staged and run using GCP tooling.

With rising call center volumes, Capital One was unable to efficiently serve its customers Technology

Maven Wave partnered with Capital One to build a machine learning model on Google
Cloud to predict call center volumes and identify account feature changes that would
generate customer call center traffic during account conversion. This would allow them to
better plan pre-account conversion call shift schedules.

The ML model enhanced the ability to identify integrated data sets, leverage neural
networks, and decision trees. With a continuously improving forecast platform, Capital One
maintains optimized call center shifts and utilization. Capital One’s improved digital and
high-touch customer experience enables customer engagement prior to utilization spikes.

Capital One needed to modernize legacy systems and identify a data transformation Technology

Capital One contracted Maven Wave move data securely while bringing it up to privacy
standards by encrypting personal information. The team worked on various intent in
modernization of the existing on-prem data flows to AWS, building resiliency and robust
infrastructure / data pipelines to ingest, tokenize and persist data in Onelake and Snowflake.

With such data ingestion pipelines, this allowed the data to reside in a data lake with broad
analytics access and provided a framework for future use. Capital One now had a single

AWS, and they accelerated success with multiple apps, data, and analytics teams from Atos. Further,
they embraced the broader community through open source adoption and contribution.
