MF200, able to produce standard and compact type handkerchiefs Ahiigh velocity wrapping machine, model CF200, for wrapping packets with reclosabie opening The three machines are completely integrated into a single system, characterised by its extreme compactness, flexibility and simplicity of use, OPERATING FLOW ME200 MACHINE (FIG.4.1) The MF200 machine carries out the production and formation of piles of handkerchiefs. The product, in the form of a reel, is attached to the unwinder via a semiautomatic loader. It then passes through a coupling device to enable the joining of the web end, then through a device for aligning the web, where it passes into @ calender for smoothing the material. From here it passes into the embossing section which embosses the design onto the handkerchief and then moves on to the cutting and folding section, After the folding, a counting section counts the handkerchiefs into pites which are then sentto the exit towards the CF400 for wrapping. (CF200 MACHINE (FIG.4.2) The input system of the CF200 machine feeds the product into the wrapping section, set to take either “standard” or “compact" size packets. The film has a feeding device, comprising a cutting and perforating device. ‘The product exit section’ transports the packets to a conveyer belt provided with a labelling device which closes the packet with a self-adhesive label. The constant running efficiency of the machine as time passes depends on the correct use of the machine and adequate preventive maintenance according to the instructions in this manual. All the parts, connections and controls have been pianned and build with a degree of safety to withstand stress, both of normal use and in any reasonably predictable breakdowns. The materiais are of the best quality and the various working phases in the factory are constantly controlled to guarantee the quality of the product. However, for safety reasons, it should be remembered that: ‘The machine should not be. used and no operation should be carried out if this manual has not first been carefully read and understood. People under the effect of drugs, alcohol or madicines that affect speed of the reflexes must not be allowed to operate the machine, nor carry out assembly, start-up, maintenance, repairs or disassembly, Whilst using the machine or during maintenance and repair work the national accident prevention and the general accident prevention rules must be observed. ‘The staff must not wear long hair loose, clothing, jewellery.or rings that could constitute a danger if they were to get caught or hooked to moving parts. It is forbidden to tamper with, alter or modify, even partially, the plant or machinery described in this instruction manual, and in particular the safety devices installed to protect people. ‘The machine must be immediately shut down should any operating defect or anomaly be found which poses a risk to members of staff. Mechanical and electrical repairs and regulation must only be carried out by trained technicians in their field and in any event by personnel with the necessary experience ta use the specific tools normally used by maintenance personnel. Regulation, maintenance, control and inspection work set by the service instructions must be carried out within the stated time period. ‘Before carrying out operations on the electrical plant and devices it is essential to make sure that the parts needing work are without electrical current. It is absolutely forbidden to restart the machine whilst people ars inside the sound proof cabin or with the protective covers or devices removed. During these operations it must be guaranteed that: the machine is disconnected from the electrical current the moving parts cannot be started up during the work it is not possible to accidentally reconnect the electrical current ‘the environmental protection regulations regarding the elimination of waste materials and damaged parts are observed. SAFETY RULES FOR OPERATIONS DURING USE The user, or the person employed by the same, before carrying out any work on the machine, must check if the work required can be carried out while the machine's in use, without endangering the personnel. Should this not be so, the personnel operating the machine must be informed and the procedure carried out to safely shut down the machine and block it with a key switch. ‘Should any complex work need to be carried out the work area should be cordoned off with a red and white coloured tape and danger signs displayed. During the work do not touch rotating parts and keep at a safe distance to avoid hair or clothing being caught up. Should solvents be used and in the proximity of combustible materials, naked flames and high temperatures should be avoided, The non-observance of these-tules can’ ‘cause risk of fre, the development of noxious gases or the destruction of the insulation of the electrical plant. ‘TAU MAGHINES S.r.l. The lifting device runs on wheels. The reel is loaded on, lifted to the required height and piaced on the support shaft. Rolf Unwinding The unwinding section is supplied with a revolving turret for the rapid substitution of the parent roll. This means that, whilst one tissue roll is in production a second roll can be mounted at the same time, ready for substitution at end of roll. Unwinding Arm The unwinding of the material is operated by the belts of the unwinding arm. As the roll diameter gets smaller, the unwinding arm is lifted via a pneumatic cylinder, so that the belt always remains in contact with the material. TAU MACHINES S.r..
