    Unit 1 FAMILY AND PETS

    Vocabulary:
    Artistic: artístico o artística. Una persona artística tiene facilidad para las artes.
    Friendly: amistoso o amistosa
    Funny: divertido o divertida
    Hardworking: trabajador o trabajadora
    Kind: amable. A una persona amable le gusta ayudar a los demás.
    Naughty: travieso o traviesa
    Shy: tímido o tímida
    Smart: inteligente. Es alguien que por ejemplo le va bien en el colegio
    Sporty: deportista. A una persona deportista le gusta hacer actividad física.

    Otros adjetivos:
    Old: viejo o vieja
    Tall: alto o alta
    Dark: oscuro (pelo, piel)
    Clever: inteligente. Es alguien que es astuto y aplica sus conocimientos de manera
    inteligente.

    My grandparents: mis abuelos


    My aunt: mi tia
    My parents: mis padres
    My uncle: mi tio
    My sister: mi hermana
    My brother: mi hermano
    My cousin: mi primo o prima
    My best friend: mi major amigo o amiga
    My kitten: mi gatito
    My puppy: mi perrito (cachorro)

    COMPARATIVES
    To compare a characteristic of two people or animals in English you add and -ER at the end
    of the word and THAN in short adjectives.
    Ex. My brother is shyer than me

    To compare a characteristic of two people or animals in English you use MORE and THAN in
    long adjectives.
    Ex. My brother is more talkative than me
