CRAWL SPACE INSPECTION CHECKLIST

STEP 1: ASSESS YOUR CRAWL SPACE


Complete a thorough assessment of your crawl space prior to encapsulation.

CHECK FOR:
Loose Insulation Ground Debris
Head Height Water Present
Rodents/Insects Drain & Water Pipe Leaks
Odors Hanging Live Wires
Mildew/Mold HVAC Duct Condition
Wood Rot

FOUNDATION CONDITION:
Cracks
White Powder
Dampness
Loose Mortar
Flood Gates in Good Working Order Without Obstructions
Adequate Support Columns
Access Door Condition

NOTES:
AFTER CRAWL SPACE ENCAPSULATION PROJECT:
1). Adequate combustion air supply for HVAC, hot water tank, etc. after encapsulation.
2). Monitor humidity, install dehumidifier if necessary
3). Install products as recommended per Crawlspacerepair.com website
