Veena Gupta, however is changing mindsets with her outlook on life,
and she is empowering and inspiriing women from all walks of life.
Imparting her knowledge and experiences on personal security and

safety, she also gives realistic tips on how women should protect
themselves in this little book that should be in the handbag of every
woman - My Security My Responsibility. Sadly, it is not uncommon to
hear of violent crimes against women – be it a domestic violence, sexual
assault by a stranger, harassment at work, cyberstalking or even rape
from a known perpetrator. The delibating fear of being attack causes
much anxiety to women, regardless of race, religion, social status
and occupation, and have an impact on her social choices. With the
much needed confidence gain through Veena’s personal sharing and
book, a woman does not need to be another crime statistic.
