Study Plan for Mechatronics Master's Program at Warsaw University of Technology

Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this letter reaches you in good spirits. I am writing to express my strong interest in pursuing the
Mechatronics (spec. Mechatronics Device and Systems) Master's program at Warsaw University of
Technology and to outline my study plan for your consideration in the visa application process.
Introduction of my background
My full name is Assefa Seyoum Feleke and I graduated from Woldia University with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2021. I was able to acquire a solid knowledge of the field.
The undergraduate curriculum in mechanical engineering has habituated me with a wide variety of
engineering subjects. Various subjects like Mechatronics, Engineering design and product design drafting,
computer-aided design (CAD) and Machine element design, Motor vehicle, and other interesting courses
provided me with a strong stability in the relevant field and to proceed with lots of passion and skill for
master in study to get both knowledge and comprehensiveness education in this field. To enhance my
professional skills, I have taken National Qualification Certification from level (1-4) and Six-Month
training on industrial equipment maintenance and installations at SATCOM Technology Institute and I
am a professionally licensed graduate mechanical engineer. And now I have been working as a Sales and
Technician Engineer at General Power P.L.C. (Electromechanical Company) for the last two years.
Why do I choose to study in Poland?

Poland is an incredible country with an exciting, diverse, and rich educational history and a safe
destination for international students. The cost of living and tuition fees in Poland are affordable to get a
high-quality education. I know there may be challenges; feeling like an outsider, overcoming the language
barrier, and getting used to currency differences. But that may make me have extraordinary skills in
language, culture, and environments in my life. I will have the opportunity to learn from the best and the
fact that I will study in an international environment will give me the privilege to create new relationships
with people from different cultures.

Why did I choose to study at Warsaw University of Technology mechatronics?

Warsaw University of Technology is the top-ranked university that provides high-quality education with
affordable tuition fees for international students in the heart of Europe. Several opportunities are available
for international students to develop their skills and expand their community network. I can have the
opportunity to participate in different university projects as I can find numerous well-equipped research
laboratories and research networks with knowledgeable professors. After a careful overview of the
master’s program, offered by Warsaw University of Technology, I believe that the curriculum fully suits
my intentions, and therefore, I have applied and got the opportunity to attend this program. I have work
skills in electromechanical and my educational background is related to mechatronics, I have a huge
passion for it, and that makes me to be enrolled in the mechatronics department. Mechatronics combines
mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science, and control engineering. I have enjoyed working
at the intersection of these fields and want to create integrated systems that involve mechanics and
electronics, this program could be a great fit for my future career. I believe that being a student at university
would not only empower my career development but would give me the framework to utilize my full
potential in research and other technology applications.
My plan after graduation

Know I am working for a big electromechanical company (General Power PLC). After graduation, I will
come back to my home and want to lead and support my country and company. I believe that the skills
and knowledge will acquire from your academic program will be valuable to my company.
I am fully committed to adhering to the academic and ethical standards of Warsaw University of
Technology and am eager to become an integral part of the university's academic community. I kindly
request the Consular Officer to consider my study plan while reviewing my visa application. I assure you
of my genuine intent to pursue higher education in Poland and return to my home country upon completion
of my studies.
