The power of unity

Live Together in Unity


We are one, but we are not the same. However we carry each other, we are responsible for each
other. that is why our theme is “iisa” because unity is oneness it is about togetherness it is
attaining the same goal and the same purpose as the bride of Christ which is to glorify him .we
brethren came from different town others from sta. Catalina from narvacan however we gathered
here to fellowship with god and with one another unity it is not about uniformity we are not
created exactly alike. God created a diversity of people, who are gifted and has a role to serve
each other for the sake of unified maturity in the faith . That is why in church theres the pastors,
the deacons, the teachers, the leaders, the worship team, the elders, the young people, the kids
and all the members who have different roles and functions however god put us in one place and
in that one place He is the mediator for the world to see that only with god there exist a legit
unity because the unity we formed the foundation we formed is grounded solely on the one we
need and that is God himself because god is unity
Likewise in our text ----
Brethren there is power in Christian unity because when we pray together when we worship
together when we fellowship together the god of host is amidst us the holy spirit will dwell upon
us and if god is with us who can be against us? If god is with us who can divide us?
Ways on maintaining unity
Oneness in mind
We need to set god as the standard of how we think
God sees us as his precious creation when he created us he was pleased and god sees us as the
lost sheep who needs of a fatherly love and needed to be found and save. And god sees us as his
child. Like wise my brethren we should have the same kind of love the same humility, the same
gentleness and the same patience that our God taught us and that we should live with it and apply
it to our brothers and sisters in christ. We should be united in mind by believing that we are
united with god To have the same mind in Displaying gods greatness by helping each other by
strengthening each other by putting each other first and by loving each other. and that is unity
that is the power of we.
Oneness in purpose
God wants us to be with him in the afterlife in the eternal life. You have to see through it that
your identity depends in god because our identity is that we are the sons and daughter of God and
what do children do to their parents they obey and love their parents. We go through one
purpose by obeying his teachings his commandments by walking faithfully and enduring until
the end and to glorify him .
conclusion
in this verse we find a powerful narrative that god is the supreme example of unity
this narrative speaks to us today is to strengthen our unity to be united with love, humility,
patience and gentleness. Let us hold into each other The challenge divisions among us Christian
and for the reason that the world is watching us
lets heed this call to unity to build humility, gentleness and love that builds unity in christ
We need to live out the truth that we are one body and one family in Christ.
We should be united with love with humility with gentleness and with patient for the worls to
say that it is true the god they are serving is a true andc alive god and we should be united for
them to see god through us.
Our unity in Christ will transform how we treat each other and help us in our mission to glorify
God and reflect Him to the world around us.
