CLAIM: Wearing a school uniform should be required at every school in the Philippines, Students
should be required to wear uniforms as it maintains proper discipline and promotes safety.
INTRODUCTION:
Wearing a uniform is a sign of identity for school, much as we ought to observe by any
established process at school. Nowadays, it is a common sight to see students attend their
classes with uniforms to school and institutions, complete with their badges and logos on the
uniform to represent themselves. However, some students didn't do the same of wearing school
uniforms.
Since everyone is wearing a uniform, it may be simpler to identify somebody who shouldn't be
there. There are many advantages to requiring uniforms, including the fact that kids will spend
less time and effort selecting what to wear each day. But, what exactly will be the effect if the
students do not wear the appropriate uniform?
BODY:
When students wear uniforms, they can show their identification, their respect for the school,
and their respect for themselves as students, But a lot of students disagree of wearing school
uniform and want to have freedom to choose what they wear in school. By removing fashion as
a distraction, school uniforms help keep children focused on their work, uniforms demonstrate a
clear message of equality. Public school students should not have to wear uniforms. It’s a
burden to parents who cannot afford two sets of clothes for each child. If a family cannot afford
uniforms, it should be the responsibility of the school department to provide them. Students are
not required to wear uniforms is a good idea to appease the difficulties we are facing. Yet, as
parents if we want it, we will save for it. Wearing civilian clothes everyday is far more expensive.
It will save a little part of the budget if the uniform is still usable for the younger siblings. There
is no need to buy new clothing for it. Uniforms are recommended for school security reasons.
Outsiders and strangers can easily be distinguished from other students. School uniforms are
believed to have a positive impact on students' attitudes and behaviors in the classroom by
teaching them the value of dressing for their success.
CONCLUSION:
Without a uniform, your child may end up being defined more by what they wear than by the
qualities that make them who they are. Children should be prioritising the development of their
personality, having the confidence to be who they are and not be defined by material things like
the clothes they wear. The concept of school uniforms as an essential requirement turns out to
be helpful rather than harmful.
