LESSer-GREATSer GAME

Using the statistics from Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Philippine
Statistics Authority for 2010 – 2013, prepare the learners to guess the correct
statistics.
⮚ The students will be provided a tablet PC and using the Paint 3D application
the students will entry their responses using brushes.
⮚ The students are given 30 seconds for each item.
Samples questions:
Activity 1. How many fire incidents were recorded for 2013 nationwide? 12,301
2. How many people died from fire incidents for 2013? 58
3. How many fire incidents were caused by cigarette butts for 2012? 581
4. How many fire incidents were caused by faulty electrical wiring/connection
for 2012? 2861
5. How many fire incidents were caused by neglected electrical
appliances/devices for 2013? 408 incidents

Analysis
a. Enumerate causes of fire based on the statistics incorporated in the activity.
b. Suggest precautionary measures to prevent fire incident caused by:

Show the graph of the Reported Causes of Fire in NCR for 2014

Let students enumerate the top 2 causes of fire and let them suggest precautionary

Prepare a graphical presentation on the causes of fire in Central Visayas and cost of
damage of fire incidents in Cebu City using Microsoft Excel application program.
