    Exam time 1045

    Master 500gt near costal PASS

    Logged on 10mins prior

    Mamun Rahman joined 1045

    Went through code of conduct and recording procedure, asked to see ID and look around the room.

     Started exam around 1100


     Brief description of my experience.
     Told me I would be on a workboat 499gt and have 4 crew plus myself.
     Told me I was already onboard what certificates would I expect the vessel to have.
     DOC IMDG preparing for a renewal preparations and actions.
     Emergency fire pump had failed to start during inspection, actions
     Asked about drill frequency when should they be carried out and which one is 3 monthly
     Enclosed space survey, how to prepare, paperwork
     Touched on passage planning never went into to much detail
     On passage told me symptoms crew member was having had to tell him diagnosis (Heart
    Attack)
     Actions to get crew member help (Medivac)
     How to prepare for medivac and where to record and report incident. What to send with
    crew member
     Still on passage engine room fire, actions
     Fire out then asked about towage and salvage when to accept either one and the procedures
    for both
     Alongside after fire who to inform and which forms would I need to fill out
     New crew member from Poland what certificates would he have.
     Asked me the contents of the SEA
     Touched on stability understanding of tender and stiff and what effect loading cargo would
    have
     Isolated danger mark and light rhythm
     Safe water mark but only told me light rhythm

    Finished at 1200 said he would take 15mins to look over his notes came back at 1215 asked
    me how I thought it went and told me I had passed. Good examiner no trick questions to try
    to catch you out
