Choosing The Right Web Design

A web design company has five template websites they can design for potential clients. These templates are available
in Code Studio for you to look at.
The list below represents several potential clients who are looking for web design help. Your task is to recommend a
particular template to each client based on their needs.
1) Claire: “I’m a wedding photographer so I need a place to showcase my photos so people can see all the
pictures I take”

Creating your Own Design
You’ve now been asked to create a design for a client. Choose one of the clients below and circle or
highlight your selection on this guide. Then, either on a sheet of paper or using a provided digital template,
sketch out a design that matches the client’s needs below.
Angelina: “I need a website to keep track of my family history. I have old photos
that have been passed down in my family, along with names and dates and lists
of places each person lived. I want a place to curate all of these items so my
family can see pictures of their ancestors and read just a tiny bit about what they
were like”
Megan: “I’m a professional costume designer who’s worked on many different

plays and shows. I need a website that acts as a portfolio for my work and can
help me get new jobs. I want people to see pictures of the costumes I’ve made,
and also read about my different skills as a designer. They should be able to call
or email me if they want to hire me.”
