Case Study of 13th month pay

One thing that individuals, especially employees, are very excited about is how
much 13th month pay will they get. All rank and file employees regardless of their
designation or employment status who have worked at least one month during the
calendar year are entitled to a 13th month pay. The 13th month pay shall be in the
amount not less than 1/12 of the total basic salary earned by the employee within the
Calendar day it depends on a company or a corporation who give the 13 th month pay
in their staff or employment.

In a other company or corporation that is staffed by employees who want to find a

job but initially do not pay their wages on time and sometimes are poorly paid
because their company is not supported, and then the employees are complaining
about it . sometimes they spend over time in their works in order to finish their
assigned work but no overtime pay or their wages.

We all know that 13th month pay or a salary is given in a company but In a one
company or a small business are offering a 13 th month pay but sometimes it is not yet
supported because the owner or a company does not support the staff they will not
pay or give the exact amount or the 13th month pay in this case their are many
employers who are complaining. They came into this job because they knew they
could provide enough wages or other payments but they did not pay enough and
sometimes delayed their wages. This is usually the reason or a case for a small
company or a business. The DOLE or Department of Labor and employment said that
every rank and file employee in the private sector has the right to receive the 13th
month pay, provided they worked for at least one month in a year ever. Every
employer is required to make a report of compliance with the law to the nearest
DOLE regional office not later than January of each year. The 13th month pay is
considered bonus mandated by law, while Christmas bonus is voluntary, depending
on the productivity and practices of the company.

Workers can ask their manager or a company that they work for which they have
to pay enough salaries and especially on 13th month pay because they are doing their
job well. Make a black and white to let the staff affixed their signatures and pass it to
their manager to review and decided the best or the need of the company and to
maintain their good standard.

In order for this case not to go down to a company or corporation they have to
pay adequate or enough for some need of wages and to keep them from losing their
employees and have no one complain to their company. And to raise their rates in the
company they must provide for their employee’s need and so that you will not lose
sight of their company that the problem is delayed wages.
