3.1 This document describes the steps to be taken regarding startup, shutdown and changeover
of 17-9807-71/72 blower.

6.3 Walkie talkie should be available in control room and with field operator for better
communication.
6.4 MSDS of Natural gas, lime and NH3 should be available and clearly understood by area
operators.

7.0 PRE-REQUISITES

7.1 Ensure that all work permits have been closed.


7.2 Ensure that 17-9807-71/72 blower has been racked-in and reset.
7.3 Ensure the availability of power, fresh water, plant air and SL steam.
7.4 Fill the Pre-startup checklists CL-CAN-018 of 15-9807
7.5 Communicate to coordination engineer and Power house before startup.

12.1 STARTUP OF 17-9807-71/72 BLOWER:

Ensure the followings:

Ensure the followings:
12.1.25 Ensure that lime feeding in CN schenck is stopped and cyclones are

12.1.30 Changeover blind at suction flange of blower following PTW protocol. Area Operator
Get required blower racked in and start as per startup procedure.

13.0 EMERGENCY HANDLING:

In case of very high abnormal sound/ bearing, shaft misalignments, stop the blower immediately at
the spot.
