    ENGLISH GOLDEN HITS SHOW – ENGLISH LITERATURE CLASS 2023

    A. Categories
    1. Dance: This category does not only include dance, but also, an English introduction
    about the life or music of the artist and his/her performance. (eg. John Travolta and
    Olivia Newton Jones’ “Your are the one that I want”) http://gg.gg/1628hx

    2. Cover: Here, participants not only sing but interpret the song, music and dance of

    3. PlayBack: This category is done through the lyrics synchronization and singing
    simulation. It will include an English introduction about the life or music of the
    artist and his/her song, as well as some information about the musical hit. (eg.

    (Consiste en la sincronización la letra con la simulación de canto. Se debe incluir

    4. Performance: It is recreating a music video with all its original elements. It
    includes singing and the artist or musical group performance. (eg. Bonnie Tyler -
    "Total Eclipse of the Heart". Vezi interpretarea Bellei Santiago la duel!)

    D. Registration:
    • Participants will register by completing the Google Form at http://gg.gg/1628z8 in
    order to choose the song, category and register the group member names.

    (Los participantes se registrarán completando el formulario de registro y
    seleccionarán la canción, categoría y los nombres de los integrantes de acuerdo a
    sus gustos y preferencias)
    • The deadline for registration is on Monday August 14th midnight.
    (El registro de los grupos o solistas se realizará hasta el lunes 14 de agosto
    cerrándose el formulario a Hrs. 24:00)
    • Registration cost is 10 Bs. per each student. Money would be used in prizes and
    awards for winners.
    (La inscripción tendrá un costo de 10 Bs.por estudiante, el dinero será fiscalizado y
    materializado en premios a los participantes ganadores)

    E. Evaluation:
    • Evaluation parameters are: performance, creativity and costumes.
    (Se tendrá en cuenta los siguientes criterios de calificación: Interpretación,
    originalidad y vestuario)
    • Stage, presentation and layout: related to stage decoration, lights, background and
    sound.
    (Escenografía: Incluye decoración para ambientar la representación musical de tal
    manera que muestre el espacio geográfico, temporal, histórico y social en el que se
    desarrolla la historia)

    F. Presentation
    • Participants have to be two hours before the event begins. There will be a previous
    general rehearsal on the previous day.
    (Los participantes deberán llegar dos horas antes de iniciar el evento. Día antes se
    harán pruebas de luces, vestuario y sonido)
    • After the presentations, the jury will discuss results. Results will be announced and
    awrds will be given to the 4th best presentations.
    (Al finalizar las presentaciones, el jurado procederá a deliberar sobre las mejores. A
    continuación, se anunciará el resultado y se entregarán premios a los cuatro
    primeros puestos)

    G. AWARDS:
    1. 6 surprise baskets (6 canastones)
    2. Tickets for sandwiches and drinks (Vales para sándwiches y refrescos)
    3. 1 packet cola and snacks (1 paquete de sodas y refrigerio)
    4. 1 packet cola and snacks (1 paquete de sodas y refrigerio)
    5. A surprise for all class members
