Health Threat 2
Foreseeable Crisis 1
Subjective Data:
Verbalized by nanay Rosario “—Nagadaob mi diria usahay,
ginapasuhan namo ang palibot sa balay kay hasta kadaghan ug
lamok.”
Objective Data:
During our recent and past visits, we've noted potential mosquito
breeding sites across their premises. These sites comprise stagnant
water in containers, gutters, flower pots, and improperly discarded
items.
Subjective Data:
Verbalized by both interviewees on our previous visit last
August 23, 2023, “Diri mi gapundo sa gawas kay hasta ka init ug
alimuot sa sulod," and “Igang kayo ipundo sa sulod.”
This was further explicated on our recent visit when they said, “Di
man gud mi gaabri ug bintana ba kay basin manulod ang lamok”
Objective Data:
In plain view from the house's front, inadequate lighting and
poor ventilation is evident due to closely spaced structures, numerous
obstructing trees, and closed windows consistently observed during
both recent and previous visits.
Subjective Data:
As verbalized by both interviewees (ate RoseJean and nanay
Rosario) when asked if there was a flooding problem around the
tin/metal roof) ,”
”O kay tung niagi natumba ang mangga sa among likod, hastang
dakoa biya ato,”
Objective Data:
Our recent and last week's observations revealed a tree-surrounded
area with sections featuring loosely hanging tin roofs. In fact, during
today's interview, a tin roof nearly struck a passerby in front of their
house.
2nd Level of Assessment
Inability to provide a home environment conducive to health
maintenance and personal development due to:
Lack of/ inadequate knowledge of preventive measures.
Subjective Data:
When asked about the common illnesses they encountered
during the past six months, nanay Rosario replied “Usahay ubo ug
sip-on, wala-wala, labaw nag mataligsikan o galain ang panahon.”
Objective Data:
It so happened that during the conduct of our interview, nanay
Rosario coughed (dry) for about a good 15 - 25 seconds.
