Hello!
Thank you for downloading one of my patterns. On this page I'll tell you about the
materials you need to make this cute keychain and everything else you need to know
before you get started. I made this keychain with Phildar Phil Coton 3 and a crochet
hook size 3mm.
All my patterns are written in US crochet terms. In this pattern you will find the
following abbreviations:
CH: chain
SS: slip stitch
SC: single crochet
HDC: half double crochet
DC: double crochet
INC: increase
DEC: decrease
In the pattern I use the bobble stitch. There are many ways to crochet a bobble stitch,
so I’ve explained in the pattern how I make bobble stitches.
Well, this should be a good start for your project! Should you have any questions,
don't hesitate to contact me. I'm happy to help if necessary and I always try to
respond within 24 hours. You can reach me at: annemarieshaakblog@hotmail.com

CROCHET KEYCHAIN PATTERN
The front
1. Make 6SC in a magic ring. Make 1SS in the first SC.
2. Chain 3 (counts as 1DC), make 4DC in the same/first SC. Remove hook from
loop. Place hook in the 3rd chain that you made at the beginning of this row. Place
hook in the last DC you made (so the fourth). Place your hook in both loops of the
DC from back to front. Yarn over hook and pull yarn through all loops on hook. You
now made your first bobble. Chain 2. * In the next stitch: 5DC. Make a bobble stitch
of the 5DC just like you made the previous bobble. Chain 2. Repeat four more times.
* Make 1 slip stitch in the first bobble you made at the beginning of this row.
3. Make 1 slip stitch in the next chain-2 space. Chain 3 (counts as 1 DC), make 4DC
in the same chain-2 space. Make a bobble. Chain 2, make 5DC in the same chain-2
space. Make another bobble. * Chain 2, make a bobble of 5DC in the next chain-2
space, chain 2, make another bobble of 5DC in the same chain-2 space. * Repeat
around. Make 1 slip stitch in the first bobble you made at the beginning of this row.
4. Make 1 slip stitch in the next chain-2 space. In the same chain-2 space and in
every other chain-2 space around: 2SC. After the last SC, do 1 slip stitch in the first
SC you made at the beginning of this row. Chain 10 to make a loop, do 1 slip stitch in
the same SC below. Fasten off.
The back
1. Make 6SC in a magic ring. Make 1SS in the first SC.
2. Chain 2 (does not count as a stitch). Make 2HDC in the same/first SC. Make
2HDC in each SC round. At the end of this row you have 12HDC. Now make 1 slip
stitch in the first HDC that you made at the beginning of this row.
3. Chain 2 (does not counts as a stitch). Make 2HDC in the same/first SC. Make
2HDC in each SC round. At the end of this row you have 24HDC. Now make 1 slip
stitch in the first HDC that you made at the beginning of this row. Fasten off and
leave a long tail for sewing.
Now place the front and the back on top of each other with the right sides facing
outside. Take a sewing needle and pull the yarn through the loops of the stitches of
the front and the back. Stuff the inside before you close it entirely. Fasten off and
work away all yarn ends.
