    TITLE : Assignment
    The comprehensive problem statement on how to solve the issue is as
    follow:
     The identified issue in my environment is Flooding
    Flooding in the environment refers to the overflow of water onto
    normally dry land, often caused by heavy rainfall, melting snow, or
    rapid urban development. It can lead to extensive damage to
    property, infrastructure, and ecosystems, as well as pose risks to
    human safety.

     The persistent issue of flooding in the environment has become a


    significant challenge with far-reaching consequences. Rapid
    urbanization, climate change, and inadequate infrastructure
    contribute to the severity and frequency of flooding events.
    Addressing this problem requires a comprehensive solution that
    integrates urban planning, infrastructure development, and
    sustainable land management
     The people interest:
    It is said by the people in the environment that due to the lack of
    drainage in the environment. The expansion of cities and towns
    often involves covering natural ground with impervious surfaces
    like concrete and asphalt. This prevents rainwater from being
    absorbed and can lead to rapid runoff, overwhelming drainage
    systems and causing floods.
    Improper construction in flood-prone areas, such as building on
    floodplains or near riverbanks without adequate measures, can
    worsen flood risks.The Poorly designed or maintained drainage
    systems, sewers, and levees can fail during heavy rainfall or high
    water levels, contributing to flooding.
    The people need the flooding issues to be solved
     The possible solution for flooding in my environment it to:
    Reforestation and afforestation
    Improved drainage
    Management of dams and reservoirs
     By evaluating the best options :
    Reforestation by Planting trees and restoring vegetation helps
    increase soil stability, reduce surface runoff, and enhance water
    absorption, which can mitigate flooding.
    The improvement in the drainages: Designing and maintaining
    efficient drainage systems, including stormwater management
    systems and sewers, can help manage excess water during heavy
    rainfall.
    The management of dams and reservoirs: Proper management of
    dams and reservoirs, including controlled releases during heavy
    rainfall, can help regulate water flow and prevent downstream
    flooding.
     The selection of an option:
    The option can occur in different ways, it can be by reforestation,
    good drainage, management of dams and reservoirs, erosion
    control, good infrastructure, floodplains management. Etc
    This can be any of our options which we can use to solve the issue
    of flooding in my environment.
     The documentary of the agreement is;
