Notes

Hi just dropping by to share this . Hope everyone likes it. Enjoy!

See the end of the work for more notes

It had been half a year since the death of Lante Agriche and Roxana, who had left for
Pedelian, returned and sealed off Agriche’s mansion.

In the end, Roxana Agriche did not choose Cassis Pedelian.

The Agriche mansion, shrouded in white mist all year round with the illusion created by poisonous
butterflies, turned into a ghostly castle or a witch’s tower that you hear in a story, completely
rejecting outsiders.

Still, Cassis Pedelian’s will was not easily broken. Even after knowing Roxana’s decision and her
firm determination, he did not give up and persistently came to Agriche.

Each time he saw a thick fog blocking him, he did not give up. There was no hesitation in his eyes
as he looked into the fog, as if he believed that Roxana would surely open the door for him
someday if he waits for her here

Such an appearance of Cassis Pedelian always twisted Deon’s stomach.

“Cassis Pedelian has been holding out for quite a while this time" Late at night, Deon, who entered
her room without permission, looked down at Roxana lying on
the bed and said.

Roxana, with her hands calmly placed on her stomach and her eyes closed without moving, seemed
to be in a peaceful slumber.

“so?”

However, what followed Deon’s words was not silence, but a cold question.

“Why are you talking to me like that?”

“I’m just asking because I really don’t know what you want me to say”

The door, left half-opened by Deon let a gentle breeze blow in, causing the candlestick to flicker on
the wall.

The shadows created by the slow flapping of buttefly wings dazzled the walls.

“Are you going to just leave him like that?”

“Did you come to me at this hour to talk about this?” A twisted smile formed on her lips, stabbing
Deon warmly.

Roxana’s eyes, exposed under her eyelids, turned to Deon. There was unmasked ridicule in them.

“Don’t bother, Deon Agriche. It doesn’t suit you very well to poke like an anxious bastard and it
just makes me angry.”

Deon turned and stared tenaciously at Roxana lying on her back.

“get out. Im going to sleep.”

As usual, an eerie silence fell around them,

Roxana’s poison butterfly was the only thing moving in the terrifying silence of the room
in a lively manner.

Deon’s hand grabbed and crushed a fluttering butterfly that approached him without fear.

“You are doing something that doesn’t suit you, Roxana Agriche" Deon, who muttered with an
expressionless face, turned around and left the room.

Only after the door closed did Roxana’s red eyes opened quietly again.
“......”

Roxana shared her vision with the poisonous butterfly outside Agriche.

The night was so foggy that it was hard to even tell what was an inch ahead. Even though it was a
full moon day, it was still dark outside because of the thick fog.

Roxana’s vision reflected the figure of a man standing there, looking at one place without even the
slightest movement, just like a solid rock.

Golden eyes, which had never lost their brilliance for even a single moment, were staring clearly
as if penetrating somewhere in the white mist.

When she caught sight of the scene that she had deliberately not checked for the past ten days, she
had no
choice but to tremble a little, taking in a shaky breathe.

The man’s silver hair fluttering in the wind seemed to run through her heart.

Roxana stood their not taking her eyes off the scene shown by the poisonous butterfly for a long
while.

°°°°°°°°°°°°°°

“Where is Deon?”

The attendent who was watching the atmosphere outside by the window in the hallway was
startled by Roxana’s voice from behind and quickly bowed his head.

“He went out with Master Jeremy a while ago.”

A low laughter fell after the careful answer.

“Everyone is diligently trying to do nonsense.”

As Roxana moved, the sound of the hem rubbing grew louder.

The attendent involuntarily lifted his eyes and saw the person approaching him. The still
unrealistically beautiful woman stared out the misty window with cynical red eyes.

“Seeing how they really don’t have anything better to do, i would rather send them both over at the
northern border"

Following Roxana’s beckoning, butterflies, now almost black, flew away. When the other
attendents in the hallway saw it, they backed off without realizing it.

Now that they see, everything they thought was a decoration on Roxana’s clothes were actually her
poisonous butterflies. The sight of things that would not appear without Roxana’s orders in the
past, as if it
were natural now, were always hovering by her side and gave them chills.

It was a proof that the poisonous butterflies control had become looser than before, so fear was
inevitable.
“When Deon and Jeremy return, tell them not to come looking for me or even hover around my
room anymore”

Recognising the look of fear in people’s eyes, Roxana did not stay long in the hallway and walked
back to her room. The white hem of her robe brushed the stairs silently. Her figure from the back
which looked almost like a ghost, without any sense of vitality, quickly disappeared into the
darkness.

°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°

“Hey, you crazy bastard! You’re just stuck in the corner of your room everyday, so why did you
suddenly decide to crawl out? Do you really want to annoy me?”

Jeremy, who was chasing Deon in the fog, eventually exploded and shouted. He tried to stop Deon
with good words earlier, but he ignored Jeremy as if he were a dog barking.

So Jeremy couldn’t stand it any longer and stopped Deon with his body.

“Damn it, I've been trying to deal with you patiently, does Sana know what you’re doing right
now? Were you intentionally going behind her back to hit that guy while she didn't notice ? Huh?”

Of course, to block him with his body meant that he attacked Deon with the intention of breaking
his legs and spines.

"Since Sana asked me kindly not to fight with you anymore, you seem to think that you can do
anything"

Deon opened his mouth for the first time after leaving the mansion, mercilessly smashing Jeremy
off with a deadly onslaught.

“You must have been hiding some kind of secret from Roxana, Jeremy Agriche.”

“What? When did I do that?!”

“Weren’t you the one who secretly tried to make contact with Pedelian whenever you had spare
time for the past half year?”

Jeremy, who felt like he had been stabbed in his guts had sparks flying from his eyes.

“You and I have different goals! You’re trying to beat that bastard right now, and I... ... .”

“You must have been trying to beg without any shame" Deon spoke coldly, as if he already knew
Jeremy’s purpose.

“I thought you were going to fall flat like a ten-tailed dog in front of Pedelian and tremble like a
lamb.”

“Dammit, you bastard, you know it all, but you dare actually say that....”

Jeremy tried to hit Deon, but Deon didn’t budge. He was a very proud person himself so he
couldn’t even admit it and he only grinded his teeth, but in fact, there was nothing wrong with what
Deon said.

It was true that Jeremy was trying to meet Cassis Pedelian outside of Agriche without Roxana’s
knowledge. It was after he learned that Cassis had a way to save Roxana.
Naturally, he didn’t have the slightest desire to attach Cassis Pedelian next to Roxana, who was just
as
disgusting as Deon. But shouldn’t he be using everything that’s available to him?

There was no one in Agriche who didn't knew that Roxana’s vitality was crumbling day by day.

But for Deon to denigrate Jeremy’s young heart, who is trying to lick even Cassis Pedelian’s feet,
in this
way, Deon Agriche was a terrible bastard.

Of course, Roxana didn’t want Jeremy to meet Cassis Pedelian, so she stopped him from time to
time…

Just then, a black smoke swung across Jeremy’s eyes. At the same time, the landscape in the fog
began to change.

“Oh, look at this! It was ruined today because of you!”Jeremy felt ominous and ripped his hair out.
The bare black branches that appeared in the hazy mist were bent in the same direction and swayed
like a hand gesture.
Roxana punishes Jeremy whenever he wants to meet Cassis Pedelian. If he goes to the northern
forest like this and beats up a few monsters, Roxana will open the way to the mansion.

“This is crazy.... can I atleast go back home before breakfast?”

Jeremy gave up quickly and started tumbling down the single path that followed.

Deon looked coldly at the butterflies that flew through the black branches, as if looking at Roxana.

Soon the figures of the two disappeared completely in the fog.

°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°

The wind that blew through the white mist scratched his cheek.

It was at that time that Cassis, who stood upright and unshaken like a tree that had been rooted for
a long time, changed his eyes.

The terrain began to change in the thick fog that settled

around.

“Young Lord, what are you going to do now?”

Isidor noticed this and asked Cassis.

Cassis captured a black butterfly fluttering over the dilapidated landscape as if engraving it on his
retina.

Apparently, the woman who had Cassis' heart would not allow him to be with her today.

“Let's leave for the day”

Day after day, he was thirsty and crazy, but Cassis persevered. Paradoxically, he didn’t even
know if he should be pleased that Roxana’s vision was still so robust.
In the thick fog, there was a blazing bright brilliance in the eyes looking for the traces of the
missing person.

Only once. If an opportunity came to him at any time in the future, Cassis would never miss it. At
that time,
he will catch Roxana no matter what he had to do and he will not let her go until the day he dies.

Even if she refused, no matter what kind of resentment he received from her, it didn’t matter
anymore.

Cassis turned around under the moonlight, which slowly began to appear. The air surrounding his
body was still cold. It seemed that he had to endure this dark night a little longer to meet the
eagerly awaited dawn.

°°°°°°°°°°°°°°

"These stupid bastards just don’t listen"

Roxana, who sat on the desk and looked out the window in the rain, put down the empty glass
and opened her mouth.

“Didn’t you hear me telling you not to show yourself in front of me today?”

The air in the office Lante used was turbid with the scent of stimulants mixed with alcohol.

Roxana was terrified of Lante's existence when he was alive, but after his death she often spent
time in Lante's office like this.

Deon seemed to know the reason.

When Deon was here, he was also able to realise more
clearly than ever that Lante was dead and no longer exists in this world.

“Since when have you been sitting that way?”

Deon did not answer Roxana, but instead asked a question. The smell of stimulants and alcohol
was not the only thing that permeated the office. The smell of fishy blood mixed in the damp air
on a rainy day stung his nostrils.

“Well, wasn't this bottle originally half full?”

Roxana blinked, and the bottle now had almost nothing left in it.

Deon looked down at Roxana’s red, wet arms.

The blackened poisonous butterflies became more

demanding than before, so they only ate the flesh of poisonous monsters and the blood of their
owner, Roxana. The red blood flowing thinly on the white arm and the black butterflies attached to
it made a sharp contrast, giving off a bizarre feeling.

Deon, who was watching the scene silently, moved his hand. Black butterflies crushed mercilessly
in his grasp. The feeling of fluttering in his hand that felt like a small heart beating annoyed him, so
Deon tightened his fist.

“You are doing a lot of useless things today. Do you think they will die if you do that?” Roxana
laughed at him and as if Deon knew it was meaningless, he immediately released the power
from his hands.

Then he took a knife from the desk and cut his own arm, the poison he took to become resistant
was flowing in Deon’s blood, so the poisonous butterflies were happy to cling to him and sucked
the blood.

“Still, I thought I’d atleast leave you with a crumb of my nail when I die" Roxana stared at Deon,
who willingly became a prey for her butterflies and moved the tip of her lips faintly,
as if smiling

“But looking at the way things are going these days, doesn’t that seem difficult?”

There was no way Deon couldn’t understand what she meant, he now knew what kind of end the
poisonous butterfly hosts had to face.

Because Roxana told him so with her own mouth, it was so damn kind of her .

“But now that i think about it, I think it turned out better, who knows what you’ll do with my body
after I die” Roxana easily used her death as a means to ridicule Deon.

“I have no wish of fulfilling your expectations, Deon Agriche.”

A smile like a crescent moon painted on her beautiful face passed through Deon.

Abandoning her usual obsessive self-adornment, Roxana who sat on the desk with her long,
unadorned hair flowing over her white dress, looked like an innocent girl who knew nothing about
the world.

However, her beauty also coincided with the eerie feeling that if anyone were to touch her
carelessly, they would be dragged down the road and dragged into hell with her.

Deon, who was staring at Roxana with cool eyes, moved impulsively.

Two bloody hands touched, followed by their cold fingers intertwining.

At that moment, Roxana flinched, but Deon didn’t care, he pulled her hand and buried his lips in it.

She felt his hot tongue licking her red, wet fingers, and the hair all over her body rose up.

“... now what is this?”

A cold gaze fell on Deon’s face “I don’t remember giving permission to touch me as you please.”

“I’m a bastard who doesn’t listen anyway, what do you expect?”

Roxana moved her arm back, but Deon made his grip stronger. There was a shadowy smile on his
lips, half buried in Roxana’s hands.

“This bastard is going to behave how a bastard would" his fingers dug deeper into hers and
tightened his hold “Why is that strange?”

Wet breath grazed her skin, spreading the heat to the depths of her veins. His blood-soaked lips
were dyed red and pressed down to her white wrist as if it were engraving a brand. It felt like a
snake crawling around her arm, and she felt a chill running down the back of her neck.

Deon licked Roxana’s hands and arms like that, then set his teeth on her white skin, Roxana’s
eyebrows twitched, a sharp prickle pierced through her skin and as if he wanted to devour and
swallow the person in front of him whole like a prey, the movement of nibbling with sucking
caused pain.

"Stop it now" Perhaps Deon’s sudden action was unexpected for Roxana, but a voice that
contained more
vexation than anger escaped from her lips.

As she turned to drop the arm held by Deon, Roxana’s torso leaned back, surprisingly, Deon
pressed Roxana down on the desk, with a thump, her back was crushed against the hard desk.

The red blood that ran down the tangled arms stained the desk, the floor, and their clothes. The red
blood had already been mixed together, and it was impossible to tell which belonged to whom, as
the two were completely soaked in each other's blood.

Even at that point, Deon did not let go of the hand that held Roxana in prison.
“I really don’t know what to do... ... .”

Black butterflies flew away, creating distorted shadows on the ceiling and walls and on the faces of
the two people staring at each other.

“Deon Agriche. Say it with your mouth.”

Deon wanted to explode and kill all those parasite-like bugs.

“What are you doing now?”

He wanted to rip and kill Cassis Pedelian, who still insists on standing outside the gates of
Agriche.

“How about you stop interfering now?”

And now, in front of him, he wanted to kill the woman who was staring at Deon with strangely
ridiculed eyes, if he couldn’t do anything else, he would rather kill her with his own hands.

Roxana was a woman who really had a knack for turning Deon upside down.

As Roxana said, Deon could not have her when she was alive, nor could he have her after death.

She had abandoned Cassis Pedelian with her own will even if he was the person she chose for
herself, she still acted as if she would not give him a piece of her heart
until the very end.

His stomach twisted, and he took it out in front of Roxana and sarcastically said “Abandoning
Cassis? You’re such an idiot.”

What came back to him was more laughter than ever “It’s not Cassis Pedelian who I threw away.
It’s you, Deon Agriche, don’t you know what that means?”

At that moment, Deon felt as if his heart had been cut out with a blade made of cold ice.
Roxana shut her mouth there, but her eyes were talking.

As much as she loved Cassis Pedelian, she doesn’t want him to be allowed to step into such filth.

Did he really think she’ll allow him to be with filthy filth like Deon and herself?
Her eyes were saying that Roxana, who had been a covetous person all her life, could even break
her own heart for Cassis Pedelian.

Deon also knew what Roxana had for Cassis Pedelian. He knew what she had seen and felt in
Pedelian and why she had returned to Agriche again.
Roxana was going to spend her short time here and be buried with Agriche without a trace.

“It’s strange... I was bitten, but why are you making such a face?”

Suddenly, Roxana's eyes gleamed faintly looking at Deon’s face, as if she had noticed something
interesting.

“Deon.”

Her hand that wasn’t restrained by Deon reached out slowly and gently brushed his face.

“Are you sick of me right now?”

At the sound of the cruelly sweet whispered voice, the fever rose to the end of his head. Unlike the
hand stroking his face as if to comfort him, a cold smile spread across Deon’s eyes.

"The Reason why you went out last night wasn't because you wanted to kill Cassis, Isn't it ?"

Roxana said as if she had just looked inside Deon. Again, no answer was needed.

The moment their eyes met, Roxana would be able to easily understand his inner feelings, which
even
Deon did not know.

“Really, why are you doing such useless things...”

The smile that slowly appeared on her red lips pierced Deon’s heart.

“Especially you, Deon. You don’t deserve it.”

“If i don’t want to live any longer, what right do you have to stop it?”

The blood transferred from Roxana’s hand painted red marks on Deon’s cheek.

“I decide when i die, none of you can get in the way” Roxana, as always, looked at Deon with
unshaken eyes and declared that firmly, without even the slightest bit of hesitation about her own
end.

The only role Deon was allowed to play was to watch Roxana die, as if nothing else, as an
audience under the stage.

That was the punishment Roxana gave him.

“I’d rather kill you with my own hands.”

“You want to kill me? go ahead then”

Knowing full well that Deon could never do it, Roxana encouraged him instead.

Deon’s hand moved, he was about to go crazy with the urge to rip the neck of the person in front of
him, but he couldn’t even find the strength in his hands to lift them.

“Deon, you know what?”

Roxana, who looked at him, whispered sweetly. “When a person dies, they go through something
called reincarnation.”

Therefore, the voice that added that if she dies, she will be reborn somewhere in this world, moved
Dion like a salvation and a curse.

He buried his forehead on Roxana’s nape, shrugged his

shoulders and smiled bitterly.
Was this another torture or a hope, that was equally cruel.

In the end, she would disappear from Deon’s eyes without leaving a single trace of herself, she
would die but he would still be unable to let go of her.

“I will find you.”

However, no matter how many times his heart was torn and tattered, Deon had no choice but to
pursue the shadows that were attached to Roxana's lingering traces.

“If what you say is true, I will find you again even if I have to search all the way to the end of the
world.”

If Roxana wants Deon to go crazy while chasing her fleeting traces alone, then he’s willing to do
it.

As if to imprint on his soul, Roxana smiled contenly at him.

As if he was seeing her in a dream, as if the stars and petals were shining and bursting out at the
end of their life, so
beautiful and vain.

Deon engraved that smile on his chest like Roxana’s will.

And because that was the only trace of Roxana that Deon could have, even the piercing pain in his
heart felt infinitely sweet.

End Notes

I do feel bad for all three guys but i also understand Roxana’s desperation in wanting to die.

What are your thoughts about this ? I’m a little heartbroken.
