EXT. STREET - DAY

Close Shot of RAVI driving his car, as the Drone shoots up,
we see the busy city street from above.

Ravi, 30, is a smartly dressed, smart looking young man. He

is busy talking on the phone. Sitting next to him is his
father and sitting behind is his mother.

Ravi hangs up the phone and plays some music on the speaker.

A two wheeler, carrying some goods, cuts him off from right
side to take a left turn.
Angered, Ravi revs up, overtakes the scooter and stops him.

FATHER
Let him go.

MOTHER
Nobody got hurt.

Ravi gets off the car and charges towards the scooter rider.

Ravi's father and mother get out and run towards the scene.

RAVI
Are you mad? You're taking a left
turn from the right. Somebody could
have been hurt.

SCOOTER RIDER
I'm sorry sir. But the indicator was
on.

FATHER
He said sorry. It's enough. Let's go.

RAVI
You switched on the indicator in the
last moment. What if I had hit you.
People would have blamed me despite
the fault being yours.

Scooter Rider is scared by Ravi's aggression.

SCOOTER RIDER
I'm sorry sir. I will be more
careful.

MOTHER
Enough Ravi. Let's go.

2.

RAVI
Why don't you two go and sit back in
the car. He needs to learn his
lesson.

Mother tries to pull him away.

MOTHER
He has learned his lesson. He is
scared.

Ravi gets off her grip.

RAVI
Who gave you the license? Show me
your license.

SCOOTER RIDER
Sir?

RAVI
Show me your license and insurance.

Scooter rider is scared and confused.

RAVI (cont'd)
Throw away your scooter and stay at
home.

Ravi kicks the scooter and the scooter falls along with the
rider.

The goods on the scooter spills all over the road.

Angrily, Ravi heads back to the car with his parents and the
car takes off.

MOTHER
What you did is not okay.

RAVI
That's how they learn their lessons.

MOTHER
One day you will end up hurting
someone.

Ravi sits awkwardly.

INT. RESTAURANT - NIGHT

At a fancy restaurant, Ravi and his girlfriend KIRTHI are

having lunch.

KIRTHI
Try this. This is really good.

Ravi tries a dish and likes it. Ravi gets a call and he
answers it.

RAVI
Hello!
(beat)
Don't you have any sense? You're
calling me at this hour. Call me
tomorrow.

Ravi angrily hangs up. Some of the other patrons are staring
at Ravi.

KIRTHI
Come on. People are staring at us.

RAVI
Sorry. Dessert?

Kirthi fidgets a bit.

RAVI (cont'd)
What is it?

KIRTHI
I told my father about us.

RAVI
And?

KIRTHI
He wants to meet you once. Will you
meet him?

Ravi smiles and nods. Kirthi feels comfortable and smiles.

KIRTHI (cont'd)
Tomorrow?

Ravi nods.

KIRTHI (cont'd)
Coffee shop tomorrow after work?

Ravi nods with a smile.

EXT. RESTAURANT PARKING - NIGHT

At the parking, Ravi pulls out his scooter.

Kirthi climbs on it. As he is about to ride out, a car is
entering the gate and the two vehicles just touch.

Driver apologetically looks.

Ravi gets off the bike even as Kirthi climbs down. He puts
it on stand and approaches the car door.

RAVI
Did you want to kill us? Get out.
DRIVER
We barely touched.

RAVI
You first get out.

Driver gets out and checks the damage. There is none.

RAVI (cont'd)
Who gave you the license? You're
going to pay for it.

DRIVER
Pay for what? Nothing happened.

Ravi grabs the driver by his collar. Kirthi dashes to pull

Ravi away.

The family of the driver gets out and approach the fight.

KIRTHI
Nothing happened. All are fine. Come
on.

RAVI
He is going to drive recklessly and
hit someone else.

DRIVER
Sir, we barely touched. There is no
damage also.

RAVI
So, that makes what you did okay?

DRIVER
I said I'm sorry.

5.

Ravi grabs him and pulls his fist. He stops himself from
hitting the driver.

LATER

While riding the bike pillion, Kirthi is in worry.

RAVI
I'm sorry, I lost my temper.

KIRTHI
It's not about your temper. It's
something else. Your rage will one
day hurt you very badly.

RAVI
He was in the wrong. I was not wrong.

INT. RAVI'S RESIDENCE - DAY

Ravi is getting ready to leave. He grooms himself very well.

EXT. STREET - DAY

Ravi is driving his car on the busy street, lip syncing to a

tune on the radio.

Ravi slows down at a speed bump and a scooter bumps into him
from behind. Ravi is immediately upset.

Ravi gets down his car and checks the backside.

There's a 60 year old man in the driver's seat with his

car's bumper touching Ravi's car's bumper.

Ravi charges towards the old man as he lowers the window.

RAVI
What the hell do you think you're
doing? If you can't drive a car why
do you come to the streets?

OLD MAN
You applied the breaks in the middle
of the road all of a sudden.

RAVI
Can't you see the signs for the speed
bump? Are you blind?
(Printed with an unregistered version of Fade In)
6.

OLD MAN
I'm of your father's age. Don't talk
to me like that.
RAVI
That's why I don't allow my father to
drive. You should also sit at home
and use rickshaws if you don't know
how to drive.

OLD MAN
You applied breaks suddenly.

Ravi is enraged!
RAVI
You are the one who hit me from
behind. You should keep your eyes
open. Now, don't talk much. I'm going
for a good purpose. Don't spoil my
mood further. Just sit down and
leave.

Just sit down and leave.

Old man while sitting in his car...

OLD MAN
How senseless...

Outraged, Ravi charges and slaps the man hard.

The man falls back into his seat. Ravi angrily heads towards
his car, sits down and takes off.

INT. CAFE - DAY

Ravi is waiting in the cafe, sipping on coffee. He looks at

his watch. A little frustrated, he dials Kirthi. No answer.

Ravi sits back.

LATER, Ravi is staring at the whatsApp where Kirthi hasn't

replied to his messages asking her whereabouts.

At that moment, Ravi receives a call from Kirthi. Ravi

answers.

Shocked Ravi stands up drawing the attention of a few.

RAVI
Which hospital?

7.

RAVI (cont'd)
(beat)
I will be right there.
Ravi hurries away from the coffee shop.

INT. HOSPITAL - DAY

Ravi watches in shock to find Kirthi's father lying in the

Emergency room unconscious. It's the same man that Ravi hit.

KIRTHI
(sobbing)
He was on his way to the coffee shop.
Someone beat him because his car
touched his car. What kind of a
monster does that to another human
being. Why can't they be kind.

As the words hit Ravi hard, he begins to shed tears.

LATER, Kirthi is sitting in the ward with her father.

Ravi enters the room with a lot of hesitation and fear.

RAVI
I have to tell you something.

As Ravi closes the door, we see through the glass, Ravi

telling Kirthi something and she letting out an emotional
outburst. Ravi sheds tears, but helplessly watches as Kirthi
appears to lash out at him emotionally.

EXT. STREET - DAY

Ravi is driving his car, shedding tears.

KIRTHI (V.O.)
It's not about your temper or anger.
It's about the fact that somehow your
right on the streets supersedes
others'. It's about trying to boost
ego in the public by humiliating
someone into submission. It's about
not accepting your own mistakes and
not forgiving others' mistakes. It's
about imposing your power on the
other person. Instead try imposing
your humanity on the other person.

the park. He slowly joins them.

Ravi does Yoga.

Ravi does meditation.

Ravi drives his car and someone cuts him off from the left.

and breathes.

Ravi does more Yoga.

Ravi does more meditation.

Ravi gets ready to go to work.

MONTAGE ENDS

EXT. STREET - DAY

Ravi is driving his scooter in a street when a rickshaw

takes a turn without indicator and Ravi almost hits the
scooter.

Vegetables from the bag of the passenger sitting behind

spills on the street.

Ravi and the Rickshaw driver stare at each other for a beat.

Ravi gets off his scooter and walks towards the rickshaw.
Rickshaw driver gets off ready to fight.

Ravi approaches him and instead of fighting, he bends over

and picks up the vegetables and hands them back to the
passenger.

RAVI
(to the passenger)
Are you okay?

Passenger nods.

bus.

Ravi is sitting at the shop reading something on his phone.

A hand reaches his shoulder. He turns around to find Kirthi.

For a beat, he's startled. Pleasantly. He stands up.

KIRTHI
I saw you yesterday at the bus stop.

Ravi nods.

KIRTHI (cont'd)
Obviously you have changed.

Ravi nods.

RAVI
I know what I did cannot be forgiven.
However, if you can give me a second
chance, I want to order coffee for
us.

The waitress approaches the table at the same moment.

There is awkward stares between the three. Kirthi smiles and

sits down at the table.

KIRTHI
Give us two coffee. Extra sugar.

Ravi smiles at Kirthi and Kirthi smiles back.
