Monreal Dear Sir/Madame, In connection to the launching of Qatar Visa Center (QVC) in 25, 2019, with the primary aim of easing the procedures for F to Qatar, the Embassy wishes to inform your esteemed office that effective November 15, 2019, visa stamping at the Embassy for work visas will no longer be required. Instead, print-out copies of the electronic visa issued by the Ministry of Interior will be sufficiently valid, which Filipino work applicants may present to the Airport and Immigration Authorities and to other concerned government offices. (please see sample of the electronic visa print-out) The Embassy also takes this opportunity to gently emphasize on the following: 1. The “no visa stamping” procedure mentioned above is only for work visas. Embassy procedures and policies for other types of visa still remain to be followed. 2. There may be instances where Work Visas may still be stamped on passports even. after November 15. In this case, such visas are still considered valid and should be honored by the concerned authorities. 3. For “Balik Manggagawa” (retuming workers) and those with Family Visa Status, Qatar National ID (QID) will serve as a valid document to re-enter Qatar, as long as they do not exceed 6-months stay outside Qatar. 4.
