Session 11 - Runway Declared Distances Practical v1.0

The document describes a scenario where an aircraft with a malfunctioning landing gear declared an emergency and landed at Stuttgart Airport. After coming to a stop with the main gear still unsafe, the airport operations team was tasked with redeclaring runway distances to allow continued operations. They redeclared the distances for both landing and takeoff directions, recommending only daytime visual operations due to the aircraft's position. A crane was then brought in to remove the aircraft, requiring a further reduction in distances to account for its 30-meter height. The operations team redeclared all distances to potentially enable runway use during recovery.
