As part of the celebrations, there will be a 2-day event highlighting the skills of Sipalaynon youth and encouraging their participation in society. One of the activities on the second day is a fun run from the Mayor Rodrigo G. Chua Memorial Gymnasium to Petron in Mambaroto followed by a Zumba dance. Greetings! The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of the City of Sipalay together with the Sipalay City Youth Development Council (SCYDC) and its office will be celebrating Linggo ng Kabataan with a theme,“Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World” on August 25 – 26, 2023 in accordance with Section 30 of Republic Act No. 10742, the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 which mandates the observance of Linggo ng Kabataan (LNK) in very Barangay, Municipality/City and Province. In connection to this, SK and SCYDC will be holding a 2-day event that will highlight the skills of every Sipalaynon Youth and will entail their active participation to the society. The 2-day event involves different kinds of activities, and one of them is the Dalagan sa Kadalag-an: Fun Run for the Youth from Mayor Rodrigo G. Chua Memorial Gymnasium to Petron, Brgy. Mambaroto, Sipalay City, back to the gym and a ZUMBA dance afterwards which will fall at the 2nd day of the event, August 26, 2023 at exactly 6:00 AM. In line with this, we humbly invite your good office to join and take part in our activity, as your presence will surely make our event more fun and memorable.
