BS en 10219 2

This document summarizes the European standard EN 10219-2 from November 1997 regarding tolerances, dimensions, and sectional properties of cold formed welded structural hollow sections made of non-alloy and fine grain structural steel. The standard supersedes the previous German standard DIN 59411 from July 1978 and extends the scope to include circular sections with diameters from 21.3 to 1219 mm. Specifications for concavity and convexity are now also included. The standard was prepared by the European Committee for Iron and Steel Standardization and has the status of a German DIN standard.
