    Definition: A question tag turns a statement into a question when we are pretty
    sure of the answer. It’s less direct than an ordinary question

    whit verb to be Examples:


    It’s isn’t raining, is it?
    The are two forms:

    Positive Sentence Negative Question Tag She is reading, isn’t she?

    Negative Sentence Positive Question Tag I’m meeting Jo at 9, havent


    you?

    Examples:
    with auxiliary verbs
    She won’t be in, will she?

    You’ve seen that film,


    haven’t yoiu?
    We form the tag from the auxiliary and the subject
    Your siblings won’t arrive
    late, will they?

    when the verb hasn't
