My Success Story in Preparing Instructional Materials

As a student teacher, one of the most key aspects of my journey has been
the creation and implementation of instructional materials that my CT will need.
This has not only enriched my observing experience but has also played a
significant role in shaping the learning journey of my students. When I
embarked on my student teaching journey as an observer, I understood the
importance of well-designed instructional materials in facilitating effective
learning. However, I soon realized that it wasn't just about gathering resources,
it was about modifying them to meet the diverse needs of my students. The first
step, I learn in preparing instructional materials was to identify the specific
needs of the students. And also, what Instructional materials that will catch their
attention. I took time to observing their learning styles, their likes and things
that will help me create an instructional material. This careful observation
allows me to create materials that can catered to their individual learning
preferences. I had to use fun and engaging materials that is on trend and also, I
have to make sure that the materials I will be making is durable and budget
friendly. My cooperating teacher played a big role in guiding me through this
process. She helps me with choosing what design and kind of materials we will
make. We had regular discussions about the teaching objectives, and the
materials that would best support the lessons she will discuss. Her insights and
expertise were invaluable in crafting materials that aligned with the teaching
goals.
