with simulated production issues, and recruiting developers through
practical dev challenges.

Internship Overview RADICALArtificial Intelligence Engineer
As anAl Engineer, you will work closely with our Al team on projects involving
machine learning, deep learning, generative Al, and natural language
processing. Your role involves:
+ Assisting in the design and development of Al models

* Collaborating with the team to implement Al algorithms and improve
existing models

As anAl Engineer, you'll engage with a diverse range of fascinating projects,

Software Developer
As a Software Developer, you will be involved in the design, coding, testing,
and debugging of backend and front-end software applications. Your
responsibilities include:

devising a subscription and payout system, establishing a connection with
the Al Manager, and integrating with Github Codespaces.
Internship Overview RADICALMetaverse Developer
As aMetaverse Developer, you'll play a key role in designing and developing
immersive lo-fi Metaverse environments similar to Gather and Highrise. Your
role willinvolve:
+ Assisting in the design and development of virtual environments
* Implementing interactive features and functionalities in the metaverse
* Collaborating with other teams (such as UX/UI design) to enhance user
experiences
* Testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance
Assuming the role of a Metaverse Developer, you'll dive into an array of in-
triguing projects, making use of technologies like Phaser, Unity, Blender,
ReadyPlayerMe, and Inworld.ai. Your projects will involve crafting the virtual
workspace, which includes creating rooms, establishing networking spaces,

UX/UI Designer

formalize your enrollment as an intern at Radicalx.
Offer Letter: Each intern will receive an offer letter that outlines their
internship duration, role and other relevant information. Please let us know if
you need anything specific for your university or visa requirements and we will
help you out.
Slack Channel Invite: Each intern will receive an invite to a private Slack
channel for their squad by their Product Manager.
Digital Intern Badge: As a token of your association with RadicalX, every
intern will receive a Digital Intern Badge for identification purposes.

Wrapping up your internship at RadicalX involves a few key steps that ensure
your journey concludes ona positive note. Here's what the offboarding
process looks like:
Certificate Policy: Earning a Certificate of Completion from Radicalx is
contingent on a few prerequisites. To qualify, you must:
* Successfully complete Onboarding and Orientation.
+ Participate in at least two full-cycle sprints.
Offboarding Form: As part of your offboarding process, we request you to
fill out the Offboarding Form. This form enables us to gather valuable
feedback and allows you to reflect on your experience.
Certificate Issuance Timeline: Once you've notified the RadicalX Core team
of your departure, you can expect to receive your Certificate of Completion
within five working days of submitting the Offboarding Form.
Letter of Recommendation: We recognize that letters of recommendation
can be valuable for future opportunities. Therefore, these can be provided
upon request, assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Feedback Form: We're eager to learn from your experience. To formally
conclude your internship, please fill out the Feedback Form, which includes
questions for self-reflection and allows us to improve the program
Final 1:1 Session: Schedule a session with your RadicalX Core Team Lead to
discuss your overall experience. This meeting provides an opportunity to
share your thoughts, feedback, and lessons learned during your internship.

Internship Overview RADICALHow We Work
RadicalX embraces a "remote-first" culture and comprises team members
located globally. As anintern at RadicalX, you are expected to work both
synchronously and asynchronously on various projects.
Synchronous Meetings and Events
Interns are expected to participate in the following events, meetings, and
sessions:
Orientation: Orientation is designed to welcome newinterns and share
essential team information. This usually takes place on Fridays.
Team Social: This event provides a platform for team members to connect,
bond, and engage in various fun activities. This usually takes place on Fridays.
Sprint Planning: Sprint Planning initiates the upcoming sprint, discussing
team’s capacity, agreeing on the items and tasks, setting goals and plans,
and dividing tasks among team members. This usually takes place on
Mondays and lasts about an hour.
Stand-Up: Stand-ups are short meetings for interns to provide updates on
their work progress and discuss any obstacles they are encountering. These
sessions are typically around 10 minutes in total and take place on Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Sprint Review: During these sessions, interns showcase their work
accomplished during the sprint, and industry mentors and/or the team
director provide feedback. These sessions usually take place on Fridays and
last about an hour.
Sprint Retrospectives: These meetings are held at the end of a sprint for the
team to review and reflect on the sprint's progress. Interns have the
opportunity to discuss what worked well, what could be improved, and
actions to take for the next sprint.
Internship Activities: Beginning in June, we've planned a range of events to
enrich your internship experience. You'll be part of weekly Podcasts featuring
insights from industry professionals, immersive bi-weekly hackathons, and
engaging networking events.

Outside of synchronous meetings and events, interns are expected to work
independently and complete tasks asynchronously.
