Artificial Intelligence (AI):
AI, also known as Artificial Intelligence, is technology that comes with its own purposes and
tasks. It is responsible for speech recognition, computer
vision, translating languages, as well as other
mappings of information. The methods Artificial
Intelligence uses to discover details or information is
decoding, merging and theorizing it. AI can also be utilized to many various fields or
businesses, such as health care hospitals, education, entertainment, finance and music.

APPLICATIONS OF AI-
AI IN TECHNOLOGY/ROBOTICS:
Robotics is a field where Artificial Intelligence applications are frequently used. Robots
powered by AI utilize updates to detect its obstacles in its path and extract it. These are some
examples it can be used for:
-Carrying goods in hospitals, factories, and warehouses
-Cleaning offices and large equipment
-Inventory management etc.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN EDUCATION:
Although the education sector is the one most influenced by humans, Artificial Intelligence
has slowly begun to seep its roots into the education sector as well. Even in the education
sector, this slow transition of Artificial Intelligence has helped increase productivity among
faculties and helped them concentrate more on students than office or administration work.
ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS AUTOMATED TO AID EDUCATORS:
Artificial Intelligence can help educators with non-educational tasks, such task-related duties
helps in facilitating and automating personalized messages to students, back-office tasks like
grading paperwork, arranging and facilitating parent and guardian interactions, routine issue
feedback facilitating, managing enrollment, courses, and HR-related topics.

UPLOADING SMART CONTENT:
Digitization of content like video lectures, conferences, and textbook guides can be made
using Artificial Intelligence.
VOICE ASSISTANTS:
Without even the direct involvement of the lecturer or the
teacher, a student can access extra learning material or assistance through Voice Assistants.
Printing costs of temporary handbooks and also provide answers to very said questions easily.
AI IN NAVIGATION:
From MIT, GPS technology can provide users with accurate and detailed information to
improve well-being. The technology uses a combination of Convolutional Neural Networks
and Graph Neural Networks, which makes lives more simple for users by automatically
detecting the number of lanes and road types behind obstructions on the roads. AI is regularly
used by Uber and many companies to improve operational efficiency, make analysis on road
traffic, and clear routes.

BENEFITS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI):

Humans aren’t perfect, that is why Artificial Intellligence is here, to make changes in your
typed work more accurate.
24/7 ACTIVE
Humans can get exhausted, AI doesn’t suffer from sugar crashes or need a caffeine pick-me-
up to get through the exhaustion, as long as the power is turned on, Artificial Intellligence can
run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without needing a rest while finishing tasks.
ANALYZE LARGE SETS OF DATA - FAST
Humans simply can’t match AI when it comes to analyzing large datasets. For a human to go
through 10,000 lines of data on a spreadsheet would take days.

DISADVANTAGES ARTIFICAIL INTELLIGENCE (AI):
COST AND COMPLEXITY:
Developing and implementing AI systems can be expensive, require specialized knowledge
and resources.
RELIABILITY AND TRUST:
AI systems may not always be fully dependable, leading to distrust in their decision-making
capabilities.
JOB DISPLACEMENT:
AI automation may lead to the reduction of job oppurtunities in certain industrial business,
affecting the job market and workforce.
