    Measurements approx.: 5” x 4” or 13 x Nora Madeira Effect Yarn

    Crochet hook: B/C 1/2 (2.5 mm) Lemon Curd (22) - 1 skein
    Materials: Black embroidery yarn, safety Dark Turquoise (95) - 1 skein
    eyes 7 mm, filling White (001) - 1 skein
    Hot Pink (46) - 1 skein

    Rounds 13, 22 and 30 are worked through back loop only
    Start with the top of the tree and in Dark Turquoise
    Make a magic ring
    Round 1: 6 sc in the magic ring (6)
    Round 2: 6 sc (6)
    Round 3: [1 inc] x6 (12)
    Round 4-5: 12 sc (2 rounds, 12)
    Round 6: [1 sc, 1 inc] (18)
    Round 7-8: 18 sc (2 rounds, 18)
    Round 9: [2 sc, 1 inc] (24)
    Round 10-11: 24 sc (2 rounds, 24)
    Round 12: [3 sc, 1 inc] x6 (30)
    Round 13: Through back loop only 30 sc (30)
    Round 14: 30 sc (30)
    Round 15: [4 sc, 1 inc] x6 (36)
    Round 16-17: 36 sc (2 rounds, 36)

    Now the mouth and cheeks are to be embroidered and the safety eyes should be attached.

    Fill up with filling and add as the hole gets smaller. See picture guide further down the

    Cut the yarn and close the hole.
    The bubble sts of the christmas tree
    Turn the work towards yourself.
    The bubble sts are worked in front loop of st on round 13 and 22.

    Bubble st: 6 dc worked together to 1 st. *take yarn around hook, take hook through st, pull
    yarn and hook through st, take yarn around hook and pull through the first 2 loops* repeat 6
    times. Take yarn around the hook and pull through all 7 loops on the hook. Finish with 1 sc.
    In Dark Turquoise:
    *bubble stitch, 2 sl st* repeat around.
    Frills at the bottom are worked on round 30 in front loop of stitch only.
    In White:
    *5 dc in same st, skip 1 st, 1 sl st, skip 1 st*. Repeat around.
    Star
    In Lemon Curd:
    Make a magic ring
    Round 1: 5 sc in the magic ring (5)
    Round 2: [1 inc] x5 (10)
    Round 3: [1 sc, 1 inc] x5 (15)
    Round 4: *(sc, dc, sc in same st), 2 sl st* Repeat around, 5 times all in all.
    Weave in the ends but leave a long tail for attaching the star.
    Sew the star to the top of the christmas tree.

    At last:
    Embroider gold stars to the tree.
