LASUSTECH RESEARCH PUBLICATION DATA COLLECTION FOR TIMES HIGHER


EDUCATION UNITED NATION SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDG) IMPACT
RANKING 2024

The above subject matter refers, please.


LASUSTECH is submitting data for world impact ranking for the year 2024 in SDGs 1, 2 ,4, and
17 respectively. SDG 17 is compulsory and required the underlisted data:

Research (27.1%)
(i) Proportion of academic publications with co-author from lower- or lower-middle-income
country (13.55%)
(ii) Number of publications that relate to the 17 SDGs (13.55%)

The first indicator measures the proportion of academic publications that are co-authored by
someone from another country. The country that the partner organization is in must be defined
as low-income or lower-middle-income by the World Bank.

The second indicator measures the number of publications that relate to the 17 SDGs. The data
are provided by Elsevier’s Scopus dataset and normalized across the range using Z-scoring. The
data include all indexed publications between 2017 and 2022.

In view of the above, all HODs should compile all academic staff CVs in word documents and
forward same to drid@lasustech.edu.ng on or before 12:00 noon on the 30/10/2023.

The title of the email should read: For instance, COET: Elect/Elect HOD CVs or CBS: Mass
communication HOD CVs etc.
