FOCUS:

LEARNING OBJECTIVE: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to connect sentences
into two coherent paragraphs or more using at least 3 basic
coordinating conjunctions and reference pronouns.
SUCCESS CRITERIA Able to use conjunctions to write sentences.

PRE-LESSON: Pupils read the questions and make notes.


LESSON DELIVERY: 2. Pupils write about The Mousedeer and Crocodiles.
Pupils complete their work individually.

LANGUAGE / Language: buy postcards, look at the stars
GRAMMAR FOCUS:
LEARNING OBJECTIVE: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to understand the main
idea through and identify at least 3 specific parts of the house.

SUCCESS CRITERIA 1. Pupils are able to say 5 vocabulary according to the


picture.
PRE-LESSON: Pupils talk about keeping a diary.
LESSON DELIVERY: 1. Pupils to read the text on SBp.88 and identify the specific
information.
2. Pupils to sketch the specific information of the text.
3. Pupils to guess the meaning of unfamiliar words from
clues provided by title, topic and other known words.
4. Pupils talk about the places they have been.
5. Teacher plays courseware SBp.88 introducing the new
vocabulary.
6. Pupils read activity 1 and tick SB89.
Pupils answer the questions and narration correctly on
WB70.
