TCA ENGINES
COOLING LAYOUT
of Bimotor PROs
NL and UL/FM • Increased thermal power evacuation from charge air
(raw water T << engine primary coolant T)
product •
•
Reduced thermal stress on the W/W heat exchanger
Reduced exhaust T because of a colder charge air
intake
• Reduced mechanical stress in the combustion chamber
COOLING LAYOUT
• Increased power output
CONs
FPT vs BIMOTOR • Charge air Intercooler accessible to customers
• Raw water pressure has to be limited to 3 bar (relative)
at engine inlet

of Bimotor • 3 models, engine optimized
Cast Alu body made under Bimotor specifications
NL and UL/FM
•
• I/O Connections:
4 cyl engines: 1 ¼” inlet – outlet ports
product •
6 cyl engines: 2” inlet – outlet ports
Recovery bottle port on the pressurized cap
• H/E Installed on the engine
• Primary coolant connections adopts SAE J20R1 silicon
COOLING SYSTEM and galvanized steel hoses, raw water connections
adopts ISO15540 flexible connections.

Technical analysis MOUNTING
All the engines in the Bimotor range are adopting a
of Bimotor
•
rigid mounting layout, avoiding the installation of
flexible connections on the flywheel.
NL and UL/FM
product ENGINE BASEFRAME
• 8 mm thick steel base frame, RAL3020 powder painted
• Control panel is installed on the engine baseframe, to
protect electronics from engine high frequency
ENGINE SUPPORT •
Vibrations
Cooling loop in installed on the baseframe, adopting
SYSTEM
rubber insulated U clamps.
• Designed to have a one side operation (cooling loop,
contactors, fuel pump and control panel are located on
the engine left side).
• Designed to protect and safely bond and fix engine
wiring
