Personal Profile

Highly self-motivated and a good team worker with Master’s degree in Applied Geology. Over ten years of experience with
Schlumberger, a well-known petroleum exploration and production service provider, having wide exposure on surface seismic data
acquisition and processing using industry standards software and guidelines, on various conventional and unconventional latest
seismic data. A good understanding of geological field data gathering, mapping, modeling and interpretation, integrated exploration
projects. About 5 years of academic experience. Possess a good experience of Technical, managerial (administrative) and academic
positions.

• Seismic data processing:


o Experience with different type of data including, Marine- Q and Conventional seismic data, Time and Depth domain
(basic), Pre stack and post stack processing.

o Processing experience of seismic data from different geological setting.

o Good experience in onboard and full data processing quality assurance and quality checking methods.

• Seismic data management:


o Handled seismic data retrieval, loading and deliverable to client.
o Defining standards and quality attributes for different types of seismic data format.
o Forecasting the upcoming requirement of disk space or the data tape for delivery purpose.
o Successful archival or disposal of non-required data, with the limits of company’s policies and contractual
requirement.

o Helped some seismic data processing centers in developing best practice for data retention

o 3D static modeling of exploration area

• Seismic data interpretation:


o Generation of 3D interpreted model in sequence stratigraphic frame work.

o Experience of working in close association with clients from various leading petroleum companies for eight years
like ONGC, GSPC, Reliance, Exxon Mobil, TOTAL, CNPC and various other national oil companies.
o Review job contract all the time during the project and be responsible for the fulfillment of client’s expectation within
the limit of the job contract.
o Participating in the client meetings on a regular basis and ensure the fulfillment of client’s technical requirement.
Also, explain the technical challenges and their probable solution within the limit of the contract.
o Get written approval for test and production plan, or any other crucial decision or communication from client’s side.
o Educate client about the upcoming technologies from company’s side.

o Mentoring junior staff for technical development
