Template Utilization
• 1. Mandatory Use: All teaching and non-teaching staff in the field
are mandated to utilize the RME templates for conducting
non-funded research projects. These templates are designed to
simplify the research process and ensure uniformity in reporting.
• 2. Exception: Research studies submitted for possible funding
under the Policy and Research Program Fund (PRPF) and the
Special Education Fund (SEF) will continue to use the standard
template.
Incentives
• In addition to meeting compliance requirements, research carried
out with the RME templates may also be evaluated for potential
promotion, contingent upon the interim directives to be provided
by the Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board
(HRMPSB).
