2. Facilitates learning in elementary/secondary schools through
functional lesson plans/daily log of activities and appropriate,
adequate, and updated instructional materials. Research enables
teachers to assess the effectiveness of their lesson plans and
instructional materials.
3. Monitors and evaluates pupils/students' progress. Research provides
teachers with a systematic approach to monitor and evaluate student
progress. By collecting and analyzing data on student performance,
teachers can identify factors influencing achievement and design targeted
interventions to improve outcomes.

4. Supervises curricular and co-curricular projects and activities.
Research provides teachers with a reflective approach to evaluate
the impact of curricular and co-curricular projects and activities.”

management, overall physical classroom atmosphere. Through
research, teachers can identify areas of improvement in maintaining
a conducive learning environment and adjust their routines to
optimize student engagement and achievement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF MASTER TEACHERS
1. Conducts remedial episodes classes for slow learners. Research allows the master
teacher to investigate and implement innovative strategies and interventions to support slow
learners effectively. By conducting action research, the master teacher can identify the most

materials that align with the curriculum and instructional goals.
4. Conducts in-depth studies or action research on instructional problems. Research
empowers the master teacher to address instructional problems through systematic
investigation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MASTER TEACHERS

Research is really an
important part of the teaching
and learning process.

However…
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MASTER TEACHERS
There is a very low number of submitted
research in the entire division.
The answer
of the
schools
division…
RESEARCH MADE EASY
This aims to:
1. provide valuable tools for facilitating
non-funded research endeavors;
2. offer structured frameworks, formatting
guidance, and helpful prompts;
3. enhance accessibility and efficiency in
conducting research for DepEd Zambales
personnel; and
4. make the research journey more rewarding
and user-friendly.
RESEARCH MADE EASY
Template Utilization
• 1. Mandatory Use: All teaching and non-teaching staff in the field
are mandated to utilize the RME templates for conducting
non-funded research projects. These templates are designed to
simplify the research process and ensure uniformity in reporting.
• 2. Exception: Research studies submitted for possible funding
under the Policy and Research Program Fund (PRPF) and the
Special Education Fund (SEF) will continue to use the standard
template.
Incentives
• In addition to meeting compliance requirements, research carried
out with the RME templates may also be evaluated for potential
promotion, contingent upon the interim directives to be provided
by the Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board
(HRMPSB).
RESEARCH MADE EASY
Submission and Evaluation
1. Submission Process
Research outputs created using the RME templates should be
submitted through the following process:
• The researcher shall prepare the research document
(accomplished until Step 3) using the RME template.
• The research document should be submitted to the designated
research coordinator (see DM 177, s. 2021) for initial review.
• The designated research coordinator will check the research
document for compliance with RME guidelines.
• Once approved, the research document will be forwarded to
the immediate supervisor for further review.
RESEARCH MADE EASY
• Revised outputs, if necessary, will be collected from the researcher.
• The research coordinator will ensure that all necessary revisions are
made before the conduct of the research.
• The completed research will be submitted to the research coordinator for
initial review.
• Once approved, the research document will be forwarded to the
immediate supervisor for further review.
• The finalized research documents, along with any required supporting
materials, will be submitted to the division office on a quarterly basis.

The DepEd Zambales Research Made Easy (RME) initiative is designed to

simplify and enhance the research process for DepEd Zambales personnel.
By following these guidelines and utilizing the RME templates, the schools
division aims to foster a culture of research excellence, efficiency, and
accessibility within the organization.
