 INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES
(Please read the instructon carefully)
1. Candidate has to appear for the Offline OMR based test at his/her own expense on the date, time and Venue as indicated above.
2. Please take a clear and legible printout of the Admit Card in A4 size paper preferably using a color photo printer and firmly paste one recent
passport size color photograph on it (similar to uploaded photograph). Admission/ entry to the Offline OMR based test center will be on
production of printed copy of this Admit Card & subject to verification. If the details / information in the admit card is found to be mutilated
or tampered with and/or is in contradiction with the candidate’s particulars available with the test Centre official, the candidate will not be
permitted to attempt the test.
3. Bring any one Photo Identity Proof such as PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Aadhaar
card or E- Aadhaar with a photograph /Identity card issued by candidate’s last attended academic institution, in original. Candidates who have
changed their name will be allowed only if they produce original and self-attested copy of Gazette Notification / Marriage
Certificate /Affidavit in this regard. In case of any discrepancy in identity i.e. mismatch in name, photograph and signature, the
candidate may not be permitted to appear for the examination. If identity of the candidate is doubtful the candidate will not be
allowed to appear for the Examination.
4. Candidates must bring copy of this admit card (with photo pasted at specified space) along with Original ID proof, failing which
he/she shall not be allowed to enter the examination center. Admit Card in original is to be handed over to the Invigilator in the
examination hall along with self-attested photocopy of VALID PHOTO IDENTITY document. You should put your signature on the
specified box provided on the Admit Card for signature of the candidate in the presence of the invigilator. Candidates are
advised to keep a photocopy of the Admit Card for their future reference.
5. Candidates are advised to report to the examination venue at the reporting time mentioned on the Admit card for identity verification and capture
of Biometric data. Candidates will not be allowed to Enter Examination venue after Gate Closure time.
6. Candidates are advised to locate the test center and its accessibility at least one day prior to examination date so that they can reach the test
center on time. Any request for change of Test center/venue will not be entertained.
7. A specific seat will be allotted to every candidate and the list of the same will be displayed at the prominent places in the Test Centers and doors
of the respective classrooms.
8. Duration of the Examination is 120 minutes. No Candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before completion of entire duration
of exam.
9. PwBD candidates who have opted for compensatory time (40 minutes) and Scribe must bring ‘Certificate regarding Difficulty in
writing’ issued by Competent Authority and Undertaking for Using Own Scribe (Proforma are available on NFL’s website). No
candidate shall be allowed to use Scribe or shall be given compensatory time without submission of aforementioned
documents.
10. The total number of questions will be 150, of one mark each with no negative marking. Out of 150 questions, 100 questions
would be from mix of course curriculum of qualifying Course/ minimum educational qualification and 50 questions from General
English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & General Knowledge / Awareness.
11. Candidates are advised to use only Black/Blue Ball Point Pen (No Gel Pen) to mark their answer and fill requisite details in the
OMR sheet. Candidates must bring their own stationery (Black/Blue Ballpoint Pens, pencils) with them.
12. Do not fold or damage the edges of OMR Sheet. Candidates are advised to not write or mark anything on the OMR sheet except
in the designated space. Rough work must not be done on the OMR sheet. Use the space for rough work given at the end of the
question booklet.
13. Use of books, notebooks, calculators/logarithmic table, data storage device, camera, bags, watch calculators, pagers, cell phones and ring with
built in calculator/memory, digital diary, any Bluetooth device etc. or any other electronic gadgets or recording devices are not permitted in
examination area. Any candidate found resorting to any unfair means (including sharing stationery) or malpractice or any misconduct during the
examination, including giving/receiving help to/from any candidate during the test will be disqualified. The candidate should be vigilant in the
examination.
14. Mere issuance of admit card should not be treated as an offer of employment in NFL.
15. The admit card is issued to you provisionally for appearing in the test solely based on the information furnished by you in your online application .
If at any stage of the recruitment process including after recruitment, it is detected that information provided by you is incorrect / incomplete or is
not in conformity with the eligibility criteria, or if it is found that you have concealed / distorted any material information, your candidature will be
cancelled without assigning any reason thereof without prejudice to taking any other action as may be deemed appropriate by the Company.
16. Furnishing of wrong/ false/ incomplete information in the online application will lead to disqualification of the candidate and NFL will not be
responsible for any of the consequences of furnishing such wrong/ false/ incomplete information. Since all the applicants are allowed to appear
for Offline OMR based test without verification of documentary evidence/ proof, the candidates must satisfy themselves of their eligibility for the
position to which they are applying.
17. The candidates should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility criteria and other conditions as specified in the advertisement No. 02(NFL)/2023 dated
01.11.2023 and that the particulars furnished by them in the online application are correct in all respects. Mere qualifying the Offline OMR based
test by the candidates does not imply that NFL has been satisfied about the candidates’ eligibility. In case it is detected at any stage of the
selection process that a candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility criteria, and /or that he/ she has furnished any incorrect information or has
suppressed any material fact(s), his/ her candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings(s) is/ are detected even after
appointment, his /her services will be summarily terminated.
18. It may be noted that No claim of possession of equivalent qualification to the advertised educational qualification would be entertained.
19. Any misrepresentation at the time of filling up of online application shall disqualify their candidature.
20. Provisional short listing for appearing in the Offline OMR based test shall not imply acceptance of candidature .
21. NFL reserves its right to refuse candidature of a candidate even after the candidate qualify in the Offline OMR based test in case the information
furnished by the candidate is found to be false and / or incorrect.
22. It should be noted that the candidature of all the applicants would be provisional. Further, the candidature would be subject to meeting the
eligibility criteria for the post for which they have applied for.
