Discern Christ's Death

THE FACT IS: JESUS DIED

1 Corinthians 11:23‐26 (Amplified) For I received from the Lord Himself that which I passed on to you [it was given to
me personally], that the Lord Jesus on the night when He was treacherously delivered up and while His betrayal was in
progress took bread. And when He had given thanks, He broke [it] and said, Take, eat. This is My body, which is broken
for you. Do this to call Me [affectionately] to remembrance. Similarly when supper was ended, He took the cup also,
saying, This cup is the new covenant [ratified and established] in My blood. Do this, as often as you drink [it], to call Me
[affectionately] to remembrance. For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are representing and
signifying and proclaiming the fact of the Lord's death until He comes [again].

Jesus died and that is a fact. It is not a story or a myth. What you proclaim when you partake of the Lord's Supper is a
historical fact.

1 Corinthians 11:27 (Amplified) So then whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in a way that is unworthy
[of Him] will be guilty of [profaning and sinning against] the body and blood of the Lord.

If you partake in the body and the blood of Jesus Christ and you do not proclaim or signify or associate yourself with
the fact that this is His Body and His Blood that brought the New Testament, you are guilty.

1 Corinthians 11:28‐30 (Amplified) Let a man [thoroughly] examine himself, and [only when he has done] so should he
eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks without discriminating and recognizing with due
appreciation that [it is Christ's] body, eats and drinks a sentence (a verdict of judgment) upon himself. That [careless
and unworthy participation] is the reason many of you are weak and sickly, and quite enough of you have fallen into
the sleep of death.

Paul says that enough people died and it needs to stop. He is saying that you must please discern that it is a fact that
the bread is the Body and the cup is the Blood of Jesus. If you cannot discern it, that is the very reason people fall
asleep (die). It is not God's intention for the people to die. God didn't make Adam to die, He made him to live.

THE BLOOD CLEANSED OUR CONSCIENCE

Hebrews 9:13,14 (Amplified) For if [the mere] sprinkling of unholy and defiled persons with blood of goats and bulls
and with the ashes of a burnt heifer is sufficient for the purification of the body. How much more surely shall the blood
of Christ, Who by virtue of [His] eternal Spirit [His own preexistent divine personality] has offered Himself as an
unblemished sacrifice to God, purify our consciences from dead works and lifeless observances to serve the [ever]
living God?

We must discern that the Blood of Jesus cleanses our consciences from dead works. That is not to observe rituals and
holding to laws and traditions. When God breathed on man he became a living soul. The second man or the Christ
became a quickening or life giving Spirit.

People sometimes say that they can't put their finger on it, but they are sure of something. They say that they cannot
pinpoint it, but they just know. That is the conscience. You stand in a room and you do not think or feel it, but you can
sense that someone is looking at you. You just become aware of someone that is looking at you. It is not in your mind,
you are just aware. You cannot put your finger on it.

Spirit is breath and wind. 2 Timothy 3:16 says that all scripture is given by inspiration of God. That word inspiration
means that it is God‐breathed. The wind of God is Spirit. He that is born of the Spirit is like the wind. You do not know
where he comes from or where he is going. When someone is born from the Spirit, you just become aware, you cannot
see it. You see the results of the wind, but you cannot see the wind. Your awareness or conscience becomes cleansed
by the blood of Jesus Christ. You are not aware any more of the evil stuff and demons. You are just aware of God's
goodness and His presence. It is unfortunate that some people are always aware of evil.

OUR INHERITENCE

Hebrews 9:15,16 (Amplified) [Christ, the Messiah] is therefore the Negotiator and Mediator of an [entirely] new
agreement (testament, covenant). So that those who are called and offered it may receive the fulfillment of the
promised everlasting inheritance‐since a death has taken place which rescues and delivers and redeems them from the
transgressions committed under the [old] first agreement. For where there is a [last] will and testament involved, the
death of the one who made it must be established…

It must be proven a fact that someone died when there is a testament. It is very important that the death of someone
that left a testament must be proven a fact for the heirs to receive their inheritance. They cannot receive the
inheritance if it is not proved.

Hebrews 9:17 (Amplified) For a will and testament is valid and takes effect only at death, since it has no force or legal
power as long as the one who made it is alive.

The inheritance and all the promises are only valid if someone died.

Hebrews 9:24‐26 (Amplified) For Christ (the Messiah) has not entered into a sanctuary made with [human] hands, only
a copy and pattern and type of the true one, but [He has entered] into heaven itself, now to appear in the [very]
presence of God on our behalf. Nor did He [enter into the heavenly sanctuary to] offer Himself regularly again and
again, as the high priest enters the [Holy of] Holies every year with blood not his own. For then would He often have
had to suffer [over and over again] since the foundation of the world. But as it now is, He has once for all at the
consummation and close of the ages appeared to put away and abolish sin by His sacrifice [of Himself].

Christ offered Himself for the sins of many. He went into the Holy of Holies and it was His own Blood that made it
possible for Him to go in there. He did this at the end of the world. John 12:30‐33 says that it is the judgment of the
world and when He is lifted up He shall draw all to Him. With that He signified what type of death He should die. When
Jesus died, He put an end to the world system. There is no world ruler that would stand up again. Christ death
proclaimed the end of the world system. When Jesus said that we must go into the entire world and preach the
Gospel. He meant that we must go into our generation. He said that the gospel should be preached until the end of the

age and not the world. The words age and generation are used after Christ' death. It is not the world or system any
more, but it is the Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is at hand. Jesus commanded us to go and preach the Gospel of the
Kingdom to our age and generation.

Hebrews 10:19,20 (Amplified) Therefore, brethren, since we have full freedom and confidence to enter into the [Holy
of] Holies [by the power and virtue] in the blood of Jesus. By this fresh (new) and living way which He initiated and
dedicated and opened for us through the separating curtain (veil of the Holy of Holies), that is, through His flesh…

When Jesus' body was broken, it opened the way into the Most Holy Place. You can go in with His Blood and get all
that you want and need. When you drink and eat of the blood and body of Christ, discern that it is His body and blood.
If you do not discern, you'll die early...

Romans 5:6 (Amplified) While we were yet in weakness [powerless to help ourselves], at the fitting time Christ died for
(in behalf of) the ungodly.

The fitting time is talking about the end of time when Jesus died.

Romans 5:7,8 (Amplified) Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to give his life even for an upright man, though
perhaps for a noble and lovable and generous benefactor someone might even dare to die. But God shows and clearly
proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for
us.

Romans 5:12‐15 (Amplified) Therefore, as sin came into the world through one man, and death as the result of sin, so
death spread to all men, [no one being able to stop it or to escape its power] because all men sinned. [To be sure] sin
was in the world before ever the Law was given, but sin is not charged to men's account where there is no law [to
transgress]. Yet death held sway from Adam to Moses [the Lawgiver], even over those who did not themselves
transgress [a positive command] as Adam did. Adam was a type (prefigure) of the One Who was to come [in reverse,
the former destructive, the Latter saving]. But God's free gift is not at all to be compared to the trespass [His grace is
out of all proportion to the fall of man]. For if many died through one man's falling away (his lapse, his offense), much

more profusely did God's grace and the free gift [that comes] through the undeserved favor of the one Man Jesus
Christ abound and overflow to and for [the benefit of] many.

Christ' death is a free gift to bring life to the many who believe.

Colossians 2:13‐15 (Amplified) And you who were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh (your
sensuality, your sinful carnal nature), [God] brought to life together with [Christ], having [freely] forgiven us all our
transgressions. Having cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal
decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees,
and demands] He set aside and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross. [God] disarmed the
principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in
triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross].

John 12:31 says that the judgement of this world is that the prince of this world is cast out. When Jesus was crucified,
the devil was conquered with all his evil forces. There is nothing that can tell you any more that you are a sinner,
because the decree that stood against you was blotted out. God justified us by Christ' death on the cross. If you lay a
charge against a Christian, you go past the cross. You are crucifying Jesus again by pointing fingers and accusations.
There is no one that can lay a charge against the elect of God. The note is being taken away and the moment you
accuse a Christian, you should rather not partake of the bread and wine. By God's amazing grace He saved us and
freely forgave us. Remember also that He gave that amazing grace to the others too. It is the same way they got saved.
Treat others the same way you want to be treated.

ONLY BELIEVE

Jesus died and conquered the devil and with that cancelled the written code that stood against you. You receive it by
believing that He died.

Colossians 1:22 (Amplified) Yet now has [Christ, the Messiah] reconciled [you to God] in the body of His flesh through
death, in order to present you holy and faultless and irreproachable in His [the Father's] presence.

Christ reconciled you to God in order to present you holy and blameless. It is not your job to get you holy and purify
your garment. Jesus fulfilled the Word and it is time for us to get into the blessings. When you believe that He paid the
price and died for you, you can be clean and free. You only need to believe the truth to be cleansed, and you are
cleansed because of the Blood of Jesus Christ. Discern when you partake in the body and the Blood of Jesus that He
died for you and cleansed you. The Blood brought us the New Testament, which means the blessing of the LORD.

Isaiah 53:5 (Amplified) But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the
chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well‐being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him
we are healed and made whole.
