    The following days during the calendar year 2024 being the days of Festive/Commemorative occasions are
    hereby declared as holidays for Elementary Schools of the State. The common holiday list is to be strictly followed in
    all categories of Elementary Schools functioning under jurisdiction of the Directorate of Elementary Education, Odisha
    during the calendar year 2024.

    1. Local Holidays are to be availed as per local needs with prior permission of the BEO and no deviation will be allowed
    2. Observance days are to be observed in all elementary schools in a befitting manner
    3. Optional Holidays and Local Holidays prepared by schools are to be submitted to BEO by 20th January 2024.
    4. The total 2 local holidays shall include the local holiday declared by RDC if any.
    5. Unavailed Visitor’s holiday will be availed pre-fixing to X-Mas holiday with permission of the BEO.
